Seattle. I'm missing the the good stuff.

I'm going to have to ask you to please bear with me while you read this entry! =)
If you know me, you've probably heard me complain on more than one occasion about living in Seattle. Do I even need to give you the reason why?? ... the RAIN! If you don't live in Seattle, yes the rumors are true: It rains ALL THE TIME. And even if it's not raining, it is cloudy and cold. There are a number of reasons why the rain sucks. Obviously the first one is that you get wet. The rest of the reasons all come in 2nd. Which include but are not limited to the following:

::Constant overcast and gloomy weather can most certainly effect ones attitude and mood. (there are proven studies about that!)
::There's something about stepping in puddles every 2 feet and the water soaking up into your socks that isn't the most comfortable feeling.
::Hopefully you remembered to close your sun roof!
::Living in a constant state of goosebumps can be quite frustrating!
::My dog won't go potty when its pouring which definitely inconveniences me.
::Uh oh! Forgot the umbrella, and now the wetness is seeping into my purse... attacking my money and credit cards.
::(phone's ringing) Better let that go to voicemail - again, generally electronics and water don't mix.
::Can't keep my car clean to save my life.

Okay enough complaining. Yes there is some light at the end of this dark blog. I'm at work right now and it's pretty slow at the moment. I was looking at flickr.com and I came across someone that had a folder entitled "Why I Love Seattle". I immediately rolled my eyes, except I couldn't ignore the picture that was displaying on the folder. Curious, I openned it, and it occured to me that "Wow, this is why I love Seattle too!" So as much as I'd like to take credit for the following pictures, I can't!

So yes, these photo's were edited in photoshop...but regardless I have to admit it. Seattle is AMAZING! How could you not fall in love with Seattle after seeing these photos. Sometimes through all the gloom and rain, its easy to miss all the natural beauty that this city possesses! And there is something about the smell here that I love. The smell is fresh and believe it or not - clean. It's always on the verge of a downpour, but that hour right before smells wonderful. And to give a little credit to Seattle, the summers here are gorgeous!
