"Corteo" by Cirque Du Soleil
So Saturday night, in Celebration of my birthday, Mother's Day, and Alissa and Mike's 2 year anniversary - my Mom bought us all tickets to see "Corteo" by Cirque Du Soleil!! My family and I have seen probably 7 different Cirque performances (we love them!) But Philip has only seen one. In case you don't know what Cirque Du Soleil is, its a 'circus type' performance, but much more elaborate!! Every different show has a different story - usually it helps to read about the story before you go because generally it's difficult to understand what's going on, but it doesn't quite matter because the language, songs and music are amazing! The talent that the performers have blow me away! The different acts of the shows are always so original and dynamic. If you haven't seen one, you should make it a goal to go!
In the car on the way:
They set the tents up at Marymoor park in Redmond, which is super convenient for us!
This is Philip and I trying on some funky masks!
I also think that Philip and I would be fantastic additions to the Cirque Du Soleil group! I think we have talent! ha ha
This particular show was really cool because it was simplistic in comparison to the other show's I've seen. It was a bit toned down, the story was easy to follow but was still entertaining!
Thank you so much Mom! I had so much fun!!
