Give Thanks!

The last couple of years, we've gone to Idaho for Thanksgiving. But this year we stayed home, but I'm really glad because we had a wonderful day at my Mom's! Alissa and Mike came over and we did a Thanksgiving brunch instead of dinner because Liss and Mike were going to his parents in the afternoon. The food was great! No turkey though. I know you're thinking "how can you not have a turkey??" Well I never really care cause Turkeys are too much trouble and I prefer a yummy ham over turkey any day!
My Mom had her house all done up with Christmas decos! Always looks amazing! I snapped a few pics, I'll post more of those later!
Philip and I brought the makings for Italian soda's! So good!!!

Yum.

I love this time of year. Even though it shouldn't take Thanksgiving to appreciate everything your grateful for - it just seems like people are happier this time of year and Philip and I are so blessed in our lives. So many times people spend time thinking about the things they don't have, instead of realizing all the things they do have.

Thank you Mom for a wonderful meal and for being such a loving Mom!

Happy (late) Thanksgiving!! Looks like you had a great time. I LOVE Italian sodas, but I've never made them...can you shoot me the instructions? Please?!

I am so glad that you guys had a great Thanksgiving! It looks like it was lots of fun at your Mom's house. I like the idea of mixing it up on the meal a little. I didn't get any ham this year and I was bummed! But it was still fun!
