Photoshop Tip: Batch Editing

If you use actions on your photos, listen up! I don't know about you but I am an action queen! Some I've purchased, others I've made myself. Either way, I tend to use the same actions on all of my photos.
There is a MUCH quicker way to edit multiple photos at one time. If there is anyone out there that edits as many photos as I do, you will want to know how to do this.

*Note: This works in Photoshop. Will not work in Elements.

Once all of your photos are open in Photoshop...

Go to File> Automate> Batch...

Your Batch window will pop up, you can then choose the Set- and then the Action you'd like to run on all of the open photos.
Click OK...

...and watch Photoshop work it's magic on all of your photos all at once!

Let me know if this was helpful at all?? I know that I love when Photogs give me helpful tips!

Oooooo. This would come in handy. I don't have too many actions. I usually do my own stuff, but I'd like to make my own. Not sure how to do that one.

AND, the Flower photo challenge is up. http://thepapermama.blogspot.com/2010/08/paper-mama-photo-challenge-flower.html

I don't think it works exactly like that in elements, but I've been trying to figure out an alternative. I can definitely do batch editing in Raw. I just figured out that I can do batch resizing...I'll have to play around and maybe share the PSE way.

I use actions alot too, I actually felt stupid that it took me so long to put my steps into actions.
I was just thinking about how I could do this. Perfect post, perfect timing...thanks!!
