Counting my blessings!

I will not be blogging tomorrow, and maybe Friday! I just really want to appreciate and spend time with my family uninterrupted! But before I take my holiday break, I really want to count my blessings!

I am grateful for:

First and foremost, I am thankful to my Heavenly Father. His Grace has allowed me to truly find myself and discover the kind of person I want to become.  I know that all of the things I am blessed with are at His hand. I know that through the challenges, I will become stronger, and more deserving. I'm thankful for His son, Jesus Christ, and the sacrifice that he made so that I can be forgiven for my sins. I am always eternally grateful for His love.

1. My Husband. He is my life partner, and the person I know that will always be there for me! He's my lifeline, and the one loves me unconditionally, without judgment! He takes care of me, supports me, and is such a great Father to our son! I love you babe!

2. My Son. I can't even think of the words. I am just so completely thankful for this little innocent life that has been given to me. It's so incredible think that my Husband and I will be responsible for raising him, teaching him, loving him. For the rest of his life. But nothing could be more rewarding. Bennett is my world... I couldn't have imagined a more perfect baby. He makes me better, and he makes me happier than I ever thought possible. I love you Bennett!

 3. My Mom. I have always been thankful for my Mother. But this year, I finally get it. I admire her so much for everything she did for us when we were little! We had a pretty amazing childhood. Tons of family vacations, dance classes, lots of camping trips, fun with friends... we were pretty spoiled I think. (Although, I didn't think so then!). And she is such an awesome Grandma to my son. She loves him SO much. What a lucky little guy to have her!

4. My Sister. Alissa is 2 1/2 years older than me and she's my best friend. We have this weird ability to laugh until we cry, and just act silly in general.  We're a couple of goofs, really. We've had our ups & downs but it doesn't matter because in the end, we are always there for each other. That's the most amazing thing about sisters, they have a special bond that can never be broken.

5. The family I married into. I have said this before, but I have married into the BEST family ever. I love love love every single one of them. My Mom & Dad-in-law's are some of the most kind-hearted people I have ever met. There were such great parents to Philip. Bennett is so blessed to have such a beautiful family to call his own!!
{ not everyone is pictured here. this was taken in 2007, since then, philips side has grown even more }
6. The ability to stay at home with my son. Sometimes money is tight, but I am SO thankful to be a stay at home Mom. I realize what a blessing it is, and am trying to hard to soak up every minute I have with Bennett. I cherish the fact that I can just BE with him. Be the one to teach him, be there for all of his firsts. Be there when he's happy, sad, frustrated, silly... I just LOVE him.

(okay it's going to go a little quicker from here on out, and these things are not necessarily in any particular order)

7. Good health.
8. My friends. I have some awesome friends! I really do!
9. Jobs. My Husband's job, and my part-time job as a Photographer.
10. Freedoms & Civil Liberties.
11. My place to live.  I'd love to own a home one day, but I'm just thankul to live in a great location, have a warm bed to sleep in!
12. Electronics. (my camera, phone, computer, television... etc)
13. Transportation. I love my Honda CR-V.
14. This blog! I have met so many amazing people through this blog.
15. My doggy! He's so cute.
16. Photography! How lucky are we to be able to capture all of those special moments!
17. I'm thankful for Coke. Yes, coke. I love it.
18. Nature, and all it's beauty!
19. The beach.

Okay... I really could go on and on! I'm just so thankful for everything in my life!! And I hope that instead of taking these things for granted, I can truly appreciate them, every single day.

Beautiful Thanksgiving post! I am so thankful for much of the same things you are: my husband and son, being able to stay home with my boy, and my family. I could go on and on! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and holiday weekend, and thank YOU for sharing your life with us :)
