Bennett's PARTAY! (picture overLOAD)

Even though Bennett's Birthday isn't officially until (wednesday) January 26th, we decided to throw him a Birthday celebration on Saturday (the 22nd) instead because the weekend was much more convenient. We kept it small, family only. I'm really glad we did it that way, it was a fairly laid back party, and Bennett knew everyone here :)

We did a Mickey Mouse theme, of course!! Bennett loves him some Mickey Mouse. I didn't go overboard with food and decorations. Pizza for lunch, and cake for dessert. Some streamers, a birthday banner, balloons and that was it!

Speaking of the cake... Oh. my. gosh. My sister-in-law Nichole, makes the cutest, most fun cakes EVER. She made him a Mickey Mouse cake and it was FABULOUS! (Make sure to check out the pictures of it below). But I didn't let Bennett smash into that cake, he had his own little smash cake to play with. Sugar free frosting, cause I'm weird about that stuff.

So pretty much, it was an awesome day! So happy and thankful to have family near by to help celebrate my little man's 1st birthday. If you've been following along with the 'celebrating bennett's 1st year' series, you can probably see how much they love my little guy. He's so lucky to have them, and so are we!
