My Valentine.

I wouldn't say that my Husband and I have the most glamorous love story, but we did go through a lot to be together. And boy am I glad that he hung in there! I thought as a special Valentines Day gift to my amazing Husband, I would write him a letter.
Philip,
I remember talking with my Mom one day, and when we had this conversation, you and I had only been together for maybe 2 months. I told my Mom that I could see myself marrying someone exactly like you. I think at that point I didn't want to actually say the words "I could marry Philip" because I didn't want to freak her out! But I knew that you were the type of person that I could be with, forever. 9 months later, You proposed and we got married. :)
You are one of the most loyal people I have ever met, that was one of the first qualities I fell in love with. When you care about someone, you are always there for them. I think any of your friends or family could vouch for that!
Let's talk about your sense of humor, shall we? If I'm being totally honest, I don't always think your jokes are funny, but what I love is how fun-loving you are. You make it easy for people to be around you because you can find humor in anything. You have a lightheartedness about you that I very much enjoy, but you're also very thoughtful you know when you be serious- most of the time. :)

Philip, one of the qualities I think I love the most about you is your ambition. You're a bit of an idealist when it comes to your goals, but I think that is so wonderful. You are so talented, I truly believe you can accomplish anything you put your mind to. I'm proud of the role-model that you are to me, and others. I really need to take a few lessons from you in this department.

You are such an incredible Daddy to our little boy. You make him laugh like no one else can. One of my favorite moments of the day is when you come home from a long day at work (not that I like you having long days at work, of course). You get this big huge smile on your face when you walk in the door and see Bennett smiling back at you!! You come right over and swoop him up in your arms and cuddle him for a couple of minutes. It's the sweetest thing.

Philip you are my best friend. I can tell you anything. I trust you completely and I know that I can always be myself around you. You are such an important part of me! Thank you so much for the amazing Husband that you are.

I love you,
Mandy
