pouring my heart out: about my man.

Life isn't always peachy. I have my moments, my days, where I just feel overwhelmed. And I pick a fight with my husband. Or I'll lock myself in my room because I just need to be alone.

But through all of that, I love is that my Husband is always there for me. He gives me space when I need it. He understands me.

One of the things that I love most is that my Husband totally gets that blogging is an outlet for me. A lot of people really don't understand the whole blogging thing, and that's okay. But my Husband does. He's pretty much always been on board with my blogging 100%. He indulges me when I need to express some "fabulous" idea I have for a blog hop, or a giveaway. He listens when I am frustrated. He helps me when I'm I fall into a creativity ditch.

EXAMPLE:
When I told him I wanted to go to BlogHer, he said "Do it!" I didn't have to spend any time trying to convince him. {although i didn't end up buying a ticket cause we planned a trip to florida instead}

Then when I found out about Bloggy Boot Camp {a much cheaper alternative to blogher}, I told him  that I really wanted to go, and that I was going to take a "stay-cation" with my very best bloggy friends over that weekend.

He told me that he was happy for me and to go ahead with whatever plan I have. How lucky am I???

He loves my blog. He loves that it makes me happy. And I love that about him.

P.S. If you are in the Seattle area, bloggy boot camp is on June 4th. Make sure you read about it HERE and HERE. It's pretty much going to be amazing. Seats are limited so get your ticket soon!

Some bloggers you may know that that will be attendance :: amy, shawntae, lauren, stephanie, rachel, and possibly Michaela! (if i missed anyone, i'm sorry! let me know if you're going!)

I feel the same way about my husband - we are very lucky ladies. I just wish I could attend with you. I'm sure Jeremy wouldn't care, but I can't rationalize it.

Ah, you're so lucky! My husband still resorts to calling my bloggy friends "imaginary"... Sigh.

Hats off to your sweet husband and hats off to you for giving him open praise! My husband loves my blog and finds it interesting that it means so much to me. Gotta love us bloggers!

jason is exactly the same way. he totally understands that i do a lot for him and our children and knows that "my one thing" is my blog. so he never questions anything about it. i love that we have men that completely "get us"! i think when we have the support of our loved ones, we make wiser decisions about what is okay and when to draw the line simply because we don't feel like the other is working against us. i don't know about you, but when someone tries to put me down or convince me otherwise, i tend to do things without thinking them through. only because i am so determined i am going to do things regardless. there have been some instances where that has happened in our relationship but my blogging has never been one of them. but feel free to ask me about how we ended up with lime green kitchen walls! clearly his convictions about it being a bad idea were ignored. i would never tell him i hate it now!

You are so lucky that he is supportive and understands blogging. It took my husband a very long time to get it!

BBC will be a blast for you!

P.S. Gorgeous pic!

He's a keeper, nice find! I wonder if it helps that he has a blog too? Bryan is supportive but sometimes if I'm up late he tells me "you don't HAVE to blog".

That's amazing that you have such great support from your husband! I am lucky to have the same (especially between Blissdom & Type-A! this year!). Blogging is such an amazing outlet and it's so great to have that support. Have fun at BBC!

That is so great! Rudy doesn't understand the blogging thing AT ALL (or most things internet/technology related), but he enjoys seeing what I put out there and doesn't pester me about the "time" I use to do it.
