Gender of baby #2!

I was going to try to come up with something really cute to announce the gender of the baby. I even wanted to do a gender reveal party - but with so much going on lately... it just isn't a top priority.

BUT that doesn't mean we're not excited about it!

We are lucky enough to live next to a Siemens ultrasound training facility, and they are always looking for pregnant "models" to come in. They do all kinds of testing & training there. So... I got on the list and now I get to go in and get 2D/3D/4D scans of my little chipmunk every so often throughout my pregnancy. Cool, right?

Well, we went in the other day - and since I'm only 15 weeks we weren't 100% we'd be able to see the gender. But the U/S tech was pretty confident that with their high tech machines, they'd be able to tell us.

And as soon as they put the probe to my belly, the baby was totally spread and you could definitely see what the gender was.

There really is no mistaking that Bennett will have a little brother! My Husband and I couldn't be more ecstatic!!! I am so excited for Bennett to have a little brother to grow up with, to play with, to share a room with. Eeeep! And honestly I'm not surprised. I have always felt that I was meant to have at least 2 boys. I'm just bursting at the seems with excitement!

{sorry you won't see any boy parts in this picture. i still believe in keeping my little guy modest. it's just a profile shot of baby fitz. ooooh yah, that's his nickname until he's born} :-)

He looks so long already!!! you can see his feet crammed up in the top right!

I noticed that the majority of the people that voted on the little poll to the right, guessed that we would have a girl! What did you think??

Oh and tell me, did you actually read this post or did you just skip to the part where I spilled my guts about the gender?? Ha ha.

I got quite a few because I was high risk and can't imagine not getting to check in occassionally, lol. Yay for boys... If we have another I would love it to be a boy :)

I read it! This is so great! Congrats! The two boys scenario is just perfection. They'll be such buddies! What a fabulous idea to go to a training center. I have my NT screening at 13 weeks and I'm soooo hoping to find out. Not counting on it, but hoping :)

Yay!! And how lucky you were able to find out at 15 weeks!! In canada you have to be over 20 weeks to find out. You can't even be 19 weeks and 6 days lol.

I read the whole post! lol

YAY for brothers!!! That is awesome. I have boy and girl twins, and due to IF issues we probably won't have more. Although I love we have one of each, I am so sad that neither one will have a same sex sibling. Growing up with three girls. I LOVED having sisters, and still do!! They will share a bond like no one else, and that is fabulous!!Congrats MAMA!!

That's so awesome, Mandy! As a mama to two cute little boys I can tell you from experience that brothers are a whole lot of fun!

Watching Landon become a big brother to his baby brother was one of THE best moments of my life. You're gonna love it.

And while we're at it, I'd love a third boy :)
