Gender of baby #2!

I was going to try to come up with something really cute to announce the gender of the baby. I even wanted to do a gender reveal party - but with so much going on lately... it just isn't a top priority.

BUT that doesn't mean we're not excited about it!

We are lucky enough to live next to a Siemens ultrasound training facility, and they are always looking for pregnant "models" to come in. They do all kinds of testing & training there. So... I got on the list and now I get to go in and get 2D/3D/4D scans of my little chipmunk every so often throughout my pregnancy. Cool, right?

Well, we went in the other day - and since I'm only 15 weeks we weren't 100% we'd be able to see the gender. But the U/S tech was pretty confident that with their high tech machines, they'd be able to tell us.

And as soon as they put the probe to my belly, the baby was totally spread and you could definitely see what the gender was.

There really is no mistaking that Bennett will have a little brother! My Husband and I couldn't be more ecstatic!!! I am so excited for Bennett to have a little brother to grow up with, to play with, to share a room with. Eeeep! And honestly I'm not surprised. I have always felt that I was meant to have at least 2 boys. I'm just bursting at the seems with excitement!

He looks so long already!!! you can see his feet crammed up in the top right!

I noticed that the majority of the people that voted on the little poll to the right, guessed that we would have a girl! What did you think??

Oh and tell me, did you actually read this post or did you just skip to the part where I spilled my guts about the gender?? Ha ha.
