I love this face.

Are you kidding me with this face??? Look at those cheeks! And those pouty little lips! Oh and don't get me started on his big doughy blue eyes. Gosh he's the cutest. How lucky am I that I get to stare at this face all the live long day?

I've just been thinking about how just next month - my cute, adorable, handsome little "baby" will be 2 years old! Eeeeeek! I can't even think about it. January 26 to be exact, my little guy will have lived 2 whole years. It feels like just yesterday that I brought him home from the hospital. How is he already almost TWO? I haven't even started to plan his Birthday yet!

An interesting tid-bit - when he turned 10 months, he started throwing tantrums like I couldn't believe. I've said before that he's "difficult", what I meant is that he's just sensitive and hard to calm down. But lately, like the last few weeks, he's been so pleasant, it's been a different change of pace. His personality literally changed before my eyes. He's a completely different kid now than he was even a couple of months ago. I'm not sure if it's the new house, or what - but he's just such a joy to be around. (he's always been a joy, but with less tantrums now.) He loves to just sit and watch movies with me, cuddle, interact... it really is so much fun. The tantrums still show their ugly faces, but he's much easier to calm down now than he used to be. Redirection definitely works now, thankfully!

I'm hoping that he's turned a leaf and he already went through his "terrible two's" before he even turned two. I guess we'll see! ;-)

Here are a few things he loves:
Curious George, hide n' go seek, hamburgers, anything electronic, hugs, kisses, cuddles (this is new!), flavored water, oatmeal, Toy Story 3, Despicable Me, Disney, climbing, running, shoulder rides, helping mommy with dinner, nap-time, vacuuming, sweeping, all the things that "grown ups" do, playing in the garage, his friend Dane, his cousins & aunts, his grandma... on & on & on.

He's still not talking much, but he's getting better at finding ways to communicate to me what he wants. We're working on it!

I LOVE MY LITTLE GUY SO MUCH!

Aww, he is so cute! And just think? Soon, you'll have that cuteness x2 =) Two was such a big milestone, but 3 hit me hard.  Like "oh my god I almost have a kindergartner" kind of hard.  Brynn will be two in May and she's my baby so I know that will hit me hard as well.  Like where is the time going??? :(

He is so cute!! I can't believe all of our little boys are getting so old!

Love that he still likes taking naps and now loving the cuddles. SOO sweet!

There is definitely a difference in B in the past few months, he is much calmer than that crazy day where he was climbing onto the top of the back of the rocking chair to get to the light in his room.  He is much less likely to give me a heart attack now :-)  He was so sweet the whole time we watched him a few weeks ago, he listened so well to everything!  Give those round cheeks a smooch for me.

I know what you mean about the tantrums, Tristan's started at 1yr and they can get bad. Though you can always tell that it's a tantrum and not him being hurt because he'll fling himself backwards (he actually lowers himself to a part of the floor that won't hurt him first) and scream. Tristan turns 2 this month on 30th also!

I was wondering when his birthday was with the others all turning 2 lately ;) cant believe hes almost 2! Ryan went through the same pattern of being difficult and has been pretty darn easy since he turned 2 and even BETTER once we moved into our new house as well.. interesting! hopefully they will both continue to be awesome :)

Ugh, I am in denial, too!  With Michael, 18-24 months was way worse than two.  At least we are coming up on a period where they can communicate.  Our ped always told us that between 1-2 was physical development and 2-3 is verbal.  So poor guys, this past year they have been learning how to DO everything, they just haven't mastered the skills of telling us what they need yet.

I'm a fairly new follower and your little guy is sooo cute!  My little man turns 3 in February and I can hardly believe it.  I feel like we were just celebrating his second birthday!  Time goes by all too quickly.

Sky turned 2 yesterday (he shares a birthday with ruari!) and it's amazing how much they change. As of 2 weeks ago, he was a joy to be around but the last week he has morphed into being difficult, refusing to sleep, eat, and throwing fit after fit. It's not his normal so i'm hoping he's just going through some milestone and will be back to his old self soon. I'm so glad you are having fun with your littl eman, these are the best times! He is SO CUTE!

I sure hope you're not kidding me with that face. He is one of the most handsome baby boys I've seen. You know, aside from my two :)

I know what you mean. Landon will be two on March 31st. It seems like it was just yesterday that we had his first birthday. Heck, it seems like just yesterday when we brought him home from the hospital. Time really does fly by. I wish time would slow down just a little. He is such a little cutie.

Bennett is seriously so cute!! I really can't believe our kiddos are going to be 2!! I feel like there's quite a few in this same age, and watching them all grow up has been so fun!

Oh what great pictures! My daughter is 19 months and I am hoping the 'beast' leaves the building soon ... She is not too bad, but she has her moments. I am hoping for that clairvoyant moment like you had! :) Aren't children just the most incredible things in the world!?!

These are beautiful! Alyson started Tantrums at around 10-11 months as well and to be honest it's slowly getting worse. Now she even fake cries to try and get her way and she's only 15 months (16 in about 2 weeks). I really hope it doesn't last for too long.

He is gorgeous. I finally know that feeling myself of just wanting to stare at them all day long! My little one turned 2 months yesterday and it was my first day back at work. =(

awe so precious!!!!! i TOTALLY understand the "fits" My oldest started them early on and then they calmed down. But now we just went through the "NO!" and hitting/running away from us phase. lol. I'm pretty sure they will always be "going through something". lol
