11 things.

I think I did one of these recently actually, but Chelsey@ The Paper Mama tagged me and so I shall answer the call! Plus, Laura said she loves being tagged in things like this because it's like a "day off" in the blogging world. SO true Laura! :)

I could try and go find a cute picture but forget it. This is me RIGHT now. Just got up 20 minutes ago and still trying to wake up! Sorry. :-)

11 random things about me

1. I have been on a cake baking binge the past month. Chocolate cake with vanilla funfetti frosting is amazing, I could eat an entire cake myself.. for breakfast. I am choosing to blame it on the pregnancy.

2. I'm so anxious to make out house a home. We just in moved in a few months ago and it still feels so empty. I really want to decorate and make it "my own"... but hubby tells me that right now, it's not in our budget. And I kind of agree. So that means a lot of my projects will be put on hold for a while.

3. I really don't like cats. At all.

4. I love all of the cheesy 90's action flicks. Example: The Die Hard trilogy, The Fugitive, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, Broken Arrow, Bad Boys...etc.

5. I hate wearing jeans when I'm at home. They just aren't comfortable to me. As soon as I walk in the door, I change right into comfortable pajama bottoms.

6. I love Cirque Du Soliel. I have probably seen like 7-8 different shows! Absolutely incredible talent going on there. I think everyone should see at least one in their lifetime!

7. Bennett wakes up around 6am everyday. I go in his room, change his diaper and then put him back in his crib for "quiet time" until 7:30. He never goes back to sleep, so I always wonder what the heck he does in there for an hour and a half in the mornings?? But hey, he seems to actually like it so I keep doing it.

8. If I could take 3 shows off the air, they would be: Toddlers & Tiara's, American Idol & South Park.

9. I think that all of the actors in the Twilight Saga are absolutely terrible, but yet... I still watch the movies. Dang it. Ha ha. And no... I do not read the books, though.

10. I am scared of the open ocean. I love going on cruises and stuff.. but when you get off the big boat and onto the little ones to go snorkeling in the middle of the ocean - I will not do it! One of my biggest fears is being left behind or getting attacked by a shark. Eeeeek!!

11. I actually don't mind changing diapers. I don't LIKE it by any means, but... I don't mind it.

1. What would your dream profession be? Or, are you already working the best job ever?
I am already working my dream profession of Photography. I genuinely love it. Although, what would really make it even more awesome - was if I had an assistant to take care of the back-end stuff!

2. Share something that your readers may not know about you…. and, you’d like to share.
My readers may not know that I had my tongue pierced when I was 18. Gross, I know. I was going through a rebellious stage.

3. Favorite band/song, movie, and book from the past couple of years…
Hmm... I have a hard time choosing favorites. So I will just say that I really like Coldplay. My favorite movies is Nights in Rodanthe, and I don't like to read books so I am skipping that part of the question :)

4. What are your 3 favorite blogs/websites you always visit. (excluding me…. hee).
Websites: Copygram, Pinterest & Facebook. Blogs: The Paper Mama (sorry Chelsey, it's true),  Mrs. Stephanie T, & Jenni from the Blog. AND so many more!

5. Do you have a favorite routine? Something you just do each and every day for yourself and enjoy?
Sure. Blogging. :)

6. What would you tell your 15-year-old self today?
I would tell myself not to drop out of dance to join the drill team at school. The worst mistake ever.

7. Why did you start blogging? And/Or, why do you continue to blog?
I started blogging to keep family up to date. But I continue to blog now because I truly need it. It's a way for me to document important milestones in my life and keep a journal for myself and my family. It's also a way for me to reach out to people, step outside my comfort zone, and make some amazing friends along that way!

8. What is a perfect day in your mind?
Perfect day: Sleeping in, doing something fun with Bennett & then being able to just go and shop by myself and buy whatever I want. Then to end the day with a fun date with hubby.

9. What’s your perfect date night?
Oh that last question led perfectly into this question. My perfect date night would be dinner somewhere yummy and a baseball game. Seriously, I'm easy to please.

10. Do you have a secret/hidden talent? Share a video if needed… just kidding. But, really…. Ha!
I don't really have any secret talents. Do I?

I just love this picture of Bennett. He's so happy and pretty much the cutest kid ever.
