In the mood for Spring!

I wanted to say thanks for all of your sweet comments on my last post about Denial. Although, I think that I didn't articulate very well what I was really feeling. I'm not so much stressing out about not having the nursery done or things like that. Those things can wait and will all get done in time. What I was trying to say that it is in doing those things, that sort of prepares us mentally for what's to come.

Basically, I just feel like mentally and emotionally I'm just not ready for the changes that are about to rock our world!! It's going to be a challenge, but I am looking forward to it, even if I'm not quite ready yet! I can't wait to meet my new little guy!

Also? I'm really looking forward to Springtime and nicer weather!!! I took these photos last Spring and just decided to yank them out of archives and do something fun with them. :)

Are you looking forward to the sunny fresh air & flowers just as much as I am??

i was going to comment yesterday when i read your denial post, but i got crazy at work....i know EXACTLY how you feel. i was in denial for basically my whole pregnancy....unmotivated to get stuff done and just like you said, not ready for the changes. almost like if we stay in denial, the sweet little baby will come and all we'll have to face is the good, perfect stuff and not the really hard stuff. cuz it's hard! really, really hard! you are going to do awesome, mama!!! you have such a great support system!i know you already know that. anyway, i just wanted you to know i felt exactly the same way and i get where you're coming from...

and those puffy white flowers? i just want to stuff my whole face in them! they look scrumptious!

Oooh, it will be so nice having a springtime baby vs. a winter baby, walks will be so much more enjoyable with the warmer weather.

I'm dying for some spring! This Seattle weather depresses me wayy too often. Can't wait to get outside or just see some flowers blooming! Your pictures are gorgeous!! It reminds me that I need to head over to the arboretum as soon as those fluffy cherries start blooming! :)

I am so ready for Spring!!! Hunter lives being outside and I really hate it when it's cold, so he'll be so much happier!
