Easton is 3 months old!

My itty bitty boy is 3 months old today!! It's unbelievable to me how quickly time has gone by over the last few months! It really feels like yesterday that I was in the hospital giving birth to this amazing little human.

{compare to 2 months}
I don't have his official stats because babies don't have a routine appointment at 3 months but he's growing like a weed.

EATING. We went through some rough patches at the beginning with breastfeeding troubles & tummy issues. But we're pretty much past all of that.

He's actually a wonderful eater!! He's super efficient now so nursing sessions went from 30+ minutes to 10 minutes or so. He rarely eats out of both sides, mainly because I'm still producing quite a bit of milk so he's pretty satisfied after he's done on one side. I've been keeping up my production by way of my pump. So in addition to exclusively BFing this little man, I also still pump 1-3 times a day. We actually got a chest freezer for the garage to store my ridiculously huge stash of milk. I'm kind of a milk hoard, but there IS a reason for it... which I will go into deeper in another post!

SLEEP. This has stayed pretty much the same over the last 2 months, except he goes to bed a little bit earlier these days... usually. He's in bed between 9:30-10. Get's up to eat around 3am then again at 6am. And up for the day around 9-9:30am. I actually don't mind the 3am feeding, but am hoping he'll drop the 6:00 feeding soon.

Naps are kind of all over the place right now. Easton isn't the best napper in the world. He takes between 3-4 'catnaps' a day. Each one lasting between 30-40 minutes. We're working on a trying to get a good schedule going and extending his naptime. Ideally, I'd like for him to take only 2 naps a day. We'll see how it goes!

CLOTHING & DIAPERS. Easton is wearing size 2 diapers at this point. He's also wearing mostly 3-6 month clothing and some of those are actually fitting quite snugly so we'll see how long he stays in this size. If he's anything like Bennett, he'll blow through this size in the next month or so and be in strictly 6-9 month stuff. I have big children, apparently.

It really has been so nostalgic to pull out all of Bennett's old things and put them on East. At first I kinda had a hard time "sharing" Bennett's old clothes with Easton, but now - I LOVE it.
Gone are the days of being the newborn who can't hold his head up by himself. He's a very strong and determined little boy. He was lifting himself up and rolling over from tummy to back at 2 months old (which I think is pretty young). He's discovered his hands and reaches for everything that catches his attention. Obviously, he's working on his coordination and motor skills, but it's so awesome to see him figuring the little things out so quickly.

Speaking of hands, he's such a thumb sucker!!! This kid sucks his thumb like nobody's business. I will need to get a good picture of it but it's pretty cute and silly all at the same time. I don't mind it now, but hopefully it won't become an issue down the road. I'm trying to just enjoy it in all it's babyish glory.

His hatred of his carseat and stroller are slowly fizzling out... which is fabulous because we want to feel comfortable getting out of the house more.

He has his bad days but for the most part, he's a happy baby and such a joy to be around.  He's got the sweetest little voice!! He's cooing so much more now, and laughing. Ooooh the laughing, I die of cute every time he laughs. It's pretty much unfair how adorable he is. Right? ;-)

Every single day I fall more in love with my baby. He is such a sweet soul, his spirit is already shining so brightly and I can't help but feel giddy when I'm with him. I just love him to death.

Gosh he is CUTE!!  I have the same reservations on "sharing" my little dude's clothes with our new little dude coming in October.  Some clothes I suppose I will only save for #1, but I need to just let it go and realize it will be ok to share ;)  Glad to hear feeding is going well!  I'm nervous about that because it didn't last with #1 past 4 weeks :(  I really hope I can go longer this time around.  Happy 3 months Easton!

Oh my heaven. He is too cute for words. :) I have the same hesitation with sharing clothes between babies (should we need to share boy clothes). I actually don't have that many of Noah's outfits for that reason. I gave most of them to good will with the intention of only keeping things that were sentimental. :)

Love his eyes- so blue and happy! He is getting big! I love that you are able to re-use Bennett's clothes - that is pretty cool to say the least... I remember every single one of my daughter's outfits and I hope we have a girl if we have another so i can reuse all her cute stuff! :)
