Easton is SIX months!!

Something about my baby being half a year old is mind boggling. Where did this last 6 months go?? It's true what they say, time goes by so quickly during the infancy stage, and it goes even quicker with your 2nd child. For real.
{compare to 5 months}
 6 month stats:
Weight: 18lbs 7oz (65%)
Height: 27 3/4" (89%)

Eating. Easton continues to be an amazing little eater. He's still exclusively breastfed but lately we've been giving him some baby food here and there. At first, he wasn't really interested, but in the last week or so, he's been doing really well with it! He has eaten everything I've given him. Banana's, peas, pears, oatmeal... he eats it all (so far!).

I'm also happy to report that I do not pump anymore!! I officially stopped pumping and adding to my frozen supply about 3 weeks ago. Feels awesome to be done with that. Now that East is eating more solids, the plan is still to start weaning him in the next few months and then to go through my frozen supply. Hopefully it will last him until he's 11-12 months and can move to cow's milk.

Sleep. He's still an amazing sleeper. Of course he has his 'off' nights but for the most part he sleeps through the night. He goes to bed around 7pm, tends to wake up sometime between 11pm-12am and want to eat (which is totally fine with me) and then sleeps until 7ish in the morning. A few times a week he'll go back to sleep until around 9am. His morning nap is usually from 10-12ish and then he takes an afternoon nap somewhere between 2-3pm.

East has turned into a tummy sleeper, I think it's so cute to see his little bum up in the air over the video monitor. He's also an awesome self-soother. He has no problem putting himself to sleep and if he wakes up, he usually can babble himself back to sleep. If he can't, all it take is to go in there and give him a little hug & kiss and he's back out like a light.

He's still sleeping in the pack n' play. I feel kinda silly that he's not in the crib yet - but alas - big brother is still using it. (which reminds me that I need to write a blog post about that!) Ah well, he doesn't seem to have a problem with where he's sleeping so I guess it's not that big of a deal.

Well, we've packed up all his 6 month clothing. He's officially in 9-12 month stuff now. It's been hard to pack his too-small clothing away. As he is growing out of things, I've been picking through and choosing my most favorite outfits to keep, and the rest is going to my sister to use.  It's sorta surreal to think that I may never use these clothes again. It makes me sad, actually. *sigh*

Cloth diapering is going well!! Did y'all see my post about it?! It's been a fun new adventure and I'm happy to be doing it! I still use disposables when we go out places sometimes, I've just found them to be easiest while on the go.

Easton is close to being able to sit up all on his own. He can sit assisted, with a boppy (as pictured above), but I think in the next month or so, he'll probably be able to sit without it. We'll see.

Also, while on his tummy, he's been trying to get his knees up underneath him. Noooooo crawling yet mister. Not yet. You're too little. ;-)

He loves playing pee-a-boo. He's obsessed with all things electronic. It's crazy how it's just in kids' nature these days. So needless to say, I have to keep my phone out of his sights or it goes straight into his mouth.

He babbles up a storm. Sometimes I feel like he's actually talking to me. Ha ha.

He loves grabbing and poking at Bennett just to get a reaction. He will pull his hair and then giggle himself into a frenzy. Thankfully, his big brother doesn't seem to mind :)

I'm sad his hair is falling out on the sides, but it will be fun to see how it grows back in. I wonder if it will be lighter? Darker? More red? People keep telling me that he is looking less and less like Bennett. What do you think?

Well, that's all I have time for right now. I'm just so so so excited for the holiday's. I can't wait for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas as a family of 4!

He is such a little cutie! I'm seeing more similarities between him and Bennett as he gets older. They resemble much more now than they did in the beginning. Can't BELIEVE he's 6 months already!

Ummm did you just write this post about Callie?! They are VERY similar in the things they do and love! Callie eats everything too. There's not a single thing she doesn't like. They have the same sleeping schedule too. Oh and the phone...Callie LOVES our iphones! Minus the size difference our kids are oddly similar. Great post! Love that last picture of Easton. I can almost hear him laughing!

I seriously want to eat him up! Ahhh, he's so cute! I saw these pictures yesterday (either on fb or instagram) and I meant to comment but was on my phone (which sucks for commenting). I think his hair is going to grow in darker...but either way he will be just as cute! Love how happy he is!

Time goes so fast. Before you know it, your little man will be here and then you'll be writing his 6 month post ;-)

He is such a cutie! I'd have to agree. He does look less like Bennett, but both are adorable!
