Usually it's true, misery does love company. But not when it means that Mom and both her little boys are sick with the ickiest colds ever! We are going on day 7 of non-stop congestion and coughing. The amount of snot in this house is unreal.
And Bennett? Don't get me started. He's been taking his misery out in the form of throwing epic tantrums and chucking every object he can get his hands on at whoever is in his way. He's so cooped up and he's going stir crazy. I don't blame him, so am I.
And to top if off?? Easton is teething something fierce. His upper front tooth
is trying to break through, so on top of his horrible cold, his gums are super swollen and he's running a
fever. I have only seen him smile two
or three times in the past week. Which, if you have noticed, is
completely unlike him. I am just at a loss as to how to help him, and I
hate feeling helpless. I just feel so so bad for my babes.
So needless to say, our house is not happy place right now. Not at all. There's not much sleeping going on, or laughing, or much of anything pleasant.
Hoping and praying that this the cold virus and teething subside soon. If not -- you kind find me at the nearest mental health facility, banging my head against the wall.
