Bennett,

Today you turn three. That means I've had 36 wonderful months with you. And let me tell you, they have been amazing.

You're very strong-willed. This is both a good and a bad thing. You're extremely stubborn, so when you have your mind made up, it's hard to reason with you. However, your persistence has helped you to develop many talents & skills. You are a very determined little boy, and I know that this quality will take you far in life.

Over the past months, you have become so outwardly affectionate. You often come up to me totally unprompted, and give me a hug & kiss, which I just adore. But what melts my heart the most, is the love that you have for your little brother, Easton. Your relationship with him is still new, as he's only 9 months old, but already I can see that you care for him deeply, and want to see him happy. You love making him laugh, and although you don't enjoy sharing your toys with him, you are learning how to play and interact with him. Easton is so very blessed to have you as his big brother.

You are currently obsessed with dinosaurs, choo-choo trains, firetrucks, and vacuums. You love helping Mommy and Daddy with everything! Cleaning, cooking and yard work. Hope you continue to enjoy those activities ;-) You're favorite movies are Jurassic Park (you have no fear!), Brave, The Lion King, Toy Story, Ratatouille, and Curious George. You thrive on very high-energy activities like running, jumping, swinging, climbing, swimming... you are a very active kid. You definitely don't get that from me ;-) You have more energy that any one person should have, but that is what makes you who you are. You seem to be the happiest when you are bouncing off of the walls and acting like a spaz! You're hilarious and entertaining, and truly the life of the party. You're also curious, courageous, thoughtful, ambitious, joyful, goofy, and you are extremely loving.

You have a zest for life that is extremely contagious. Your presence is always known, usually because you're always excited about something. You have such a colorful personality, everything you do is with so much enthusiasm, and I just love that about you. Don't ever change.

Most importantly, you are a child of God. Your Heavenly Father loves you, Bennett. He knows you personally. He can hear you when you say your prayers at night, and I know that He is just as proud of you as I am. Always stay faithful, sweet boy. Your faith is what will guide you to eternal happiness.
