Easton is 11 months!

I'm not entirely sure when Easton officially turned 11 months, since he was born on March 30th, and February only has 28 days. Regardless, though, my baby is eleven months. That means he turns ONE year old this month. THIS MONTH! I am in absolute denial. It just doesn't seem possible. I know I say that every month, but really??? His birthday is this month? It's just crazy.
{compare to 10 months}
 I'm not going to go into great detail about his habits in this post, because, it's very similar to his 10 month post. He's not walking quite yet, and honestly, I'm totally fine with that. Feels like he's a baby a little longer when he's just crawling around ;-)

I say this every month, but I mean it, he's the most amazing little guy ever. He's still (and always has been) an award winning sleeper, which makes mommy very very happy. He eats anything and everything we give him. He really only fusses when he's hungry, or there's food around. And when he's tired. He's can be a little clingy sometimes, but hey, I'll take it. He's just a happy guy.

He loves loves loves books. Did I mentioned he loves them?? He would sit in my lap and have me read to him all day long if he could. This is all very strange to me because Bennett never liked books, and still really doesn't. But... I love it. I love that quiet time with Easton. He gets super into the story even though he doesn't understand it yet. He giggles and smiles, and get's really excited when you turn the page. It makes me heart happy.

He seems very "mature" for an 11 month old. I feel like he's a little old man, trapped in a babies body. It's hard to explain, but his attitude is just unlike any other baby I've seen. If you know him, I'm sure you know what I mean. He's very inquisitive. He takes time to really study and focus on things to see what they are and how they work. It's fun to watch his little brain wheels turning all of the time.

Oh and Bennett and Easton. My heart melts the way Easton loves his big brother. He looks at Bennett like he's his hero. It's about the sweetest thing I've ever seen. My heart turns to mush... here's why....

Well the truth is that I'm starting to tear up because I just love my boys so much. I'm having a tough time adjusting to the fact that East will be a year old at the end of the month. The "baby" part of him is fading, and it's killing me softly.

So with that, I'm gonna leave you with one last picture of the cutest brothers ever and say HAPPY ELEVEN MONTHS EASTON!!!

Oh Mandy, I can totally see what you mean -- his eyes reveal a deepness that goes FAR beyond 11 months! What a beautiful boy, as well -- he looks so much like you. xo

Gosh I love that last photo!
They are so stinkin' cute.

My Ethan just turned 18 months old last month and I had a good cry. I know what you mean about the 'baby' part slipping away. It's just gone suddenly. Like "Hey mom, I'm a toddler and I'm going to tell you NO and get into things now, okay". :(

Thanksfully, mine's usually a happy kid too. It makes it a bit easier.

Sooooo what do you think about packing him in your suitcase and bringing him along to Blissdom, because he's so stinking cute that I need to give that lil dude a hug? No? Okay. I'll settle for hugging his mama instead. A close second ;-)

Is that creepy? Hahaha I get punchy when I start leaving comments past Benjamin's bedtime. Sleepiness makes me delusional.
