He's a bit of a late walker, but I was actually okay with that. I have been enjoying the last little bit of baby-ness he had left! But now that he's figured out how to keep his feet underneath him, I have definitely seen a shift in his attitude and behavior. He's no longer content just sitting in his stroller observing the big kids at the playground, running around and climbing on things. Now he wants to be let loose to meander and wander like all the other toddlers and kids. It's so bitter sweet. I am having a really hard time letting go of my baby.
I guess the time has come to just accept that my itty bitty will be walking along side his big brother. Whoa. I have two toddlers. That's just crazy. I suppose soon enough, though, Bennett will exit the toddler phase and enter just plain 'ol "kid" territory. But that's neither here nor there right now, I have an entire post dedicated to that.
So in honor of Easton's new milestone, and since I made a video for Bennett when he started walking - I've put together a short film of a few video clips I took of little E this past week! :-)

The next Mama Memoirs Link-up will be Thursday, June 27th!

aww. it's sad how fast they grow up!
14 months is a perfect age to start walking :)
I can't believe my baby is already 2 months!!!! before ya know it, she will be walking :0
I cannot tell you how much I love that video! Nicely done!
He is SO sweet! Well, I guess since he's exiting baby mode it is time for another? ;-) Just waiting for the baby bug to kick in again over here. :-)
How exciting!!! Just a few more days and he'll be climbing on table tops like all boys do ;)
I love video montages, but I love video montages of Easton even more. He is so cute. I told Dane last night about E walking and he said, "Noooo, that's crazy, Easton can't walk he is only a baby." Sorry dude, but E is going to be bigger than you probably within a year.
P.S. I know you don't want to hear this, but B isn't a toddler anymore, he is practically a man! These boys need to just stop with all the getting old stuff, well except for the whining, they can move past that any time now.
He is so adorable! I miss my little man tumbling about :*(
Oh my goodness, he is tooooo cute!!
Look how happy he is!!! Yeah Easton!!!
Wow, he's walking so well! I know, it's sad, isn't it.
I love a) "take on me" in the background and b) how much E loves walking! you can just see it in his little face! So precious :)
PERFECT MOVIE!!! He's so proud of himself!!! Super super cute. :)
Oh my dear goodness, what a sweet big boy!!! He looks so proud!
Also? The song totally reminded me of seeing the Spasmatics at Blissdom. <3
Just watched this again with Dane, oh my goodness it is so cute seeing him bop around at the park! Can't wait to see it in person tomorrow evening.
OH my goodness he looks SO proud of himself! I love it! Enjoy your blog and excited to link up. Your post reminded me our our big "first" recently (my son got his first wheelchair). Not quite walking, but for us it was just as sweet!
Made me smile the whole way through. Look at our little Eastie!
He is so cute!! I mean seriously that smile!!
Both your boys and their smile.. will melt girls hearts!!
I love how his hands are up in the air most of the time! Thanks for sharing!
Always, Manda
Hi Mandy, are you still doing the weekly link-up?
