$$$ and what I'd do with it.

I'm linking up with From Mrs. To Mama again for her 52 weeks of Blogging with a  Purpose. I kinda missed a bunch of weeks, but oh well! This weeks prompt is: Five things I'd buy if I won the lottery.

Obviously this is all hypothetical because I have never played the lottery and never plan to. But it's fun to dream, right? ;-)

The first and most obvious thing is that we'd pay off any debt/cars that we have. But to be fair, the first thing we'd actually buy -- is a house. It's true that we just recently bought our home, and we like it, but we don't love it. There are a lot if things that we want/need in a home that we just can't afford, or don't have the time to fix up. So, it goes without saying that we'd probably upgrade our house. I wouldn't go crazy and buy an enormous mansion, but definitely something with a little more property, an extra bedroom, a bigger office, more storage space... etc. To be honest, I love where we live, too, so I'd want to buy nearby.

The second thing I'd buy?
A studio space for my photography business. I am not a huge fan of studio work, but the truth of the matter is that in Washington State, it rains here a lot. So there are times that I wish I had somewhere indoors to shoot! I would want a huge indoor space with white brick walls and huge windows with natural light just flooding in! *sigh* sounds so wonderful. Maybe one day? Oh and while we're on the topic of photography, I'd also buy every single piece of photography equipment on my wishlist. Duh.

Third thing.
A vacation home. This sounds cliche for a reason. Everyone wants a vacation home, right? Okay well since this is all hypothetical, I'm going to go ahead and splurge. I want two vacations homes. One of them somewhere tropical and beachy, and the other in an awesome city, perhaps New York. Yah, that'll do just fine. ;-)

Fourth thing.
A whole new wardrobe. Another cliche, I know. I wouldn't even need extravagant new clothes or anything. I have always wanted to literally just throw out my entire wardrobe and start completely over. How awesome would that be??

Fifth thing.
If we had loads of money, I'd love to adopt. Obviously you don't necessarily need millions of dollars to adopt, but it would be a lot easier to do if I had millions, just sayin'. But really, I think it's always such an amazing thing when people choose to adopt. There are so many babies/kids out there in need of good and loving homes!

Okay so there's my list. What would YOU buy if you won the lottery??

Also, I think I'm suppose to have a picture that goes along with this, but I don't really have one, so this will have to do. lol

Isn't it sad how expensive adoption is? we really want to adopt too...and will likely go into debt for it. :/

I would probably do all the same things even the adopt but I would also set up college funds and of course hire a maid ;)

Oh I'd totally revamp my closet if I won the lottery. That would just be so much fun!

This is a fabulous wish list for if you won the lottery! Cory laughs when I tell him that I'd buy the nicest camera and all the camera equipment I want/need so I can start my own photography business. Whereas he would buy a house, cars, etc. I just have simpler dreams I guess ;)
