Labor Day Weekend was jam packed!

I'm feeling like Summer is about over. I mean, we technically still have a few weeks left of the season, but here in Seattle, those weeks are hit or miss. Truly, I'm really excited for Fall, I mean hello! Halloween, fuzzy scarves & sweaters, boots, Thanksgiving... etc! There is a lot to look forward to, but I am really going to miss Summer when it's gone. I feel like last Summer, when Easton was a baby, we didn't really do much at all. He was a really picky eater & napper, so I sort of felt chained to the house.

But this Summer? This Summer was amazing!! I really feel like I took advantage of all of the warm sunny days, and honestly, it felt so natural and perfect with both of my boys. I'll admit that at the beginning of the Summer, I was nervous to do things with the two of them by myself. I mean, the beach with two kids ages 3 & 1? Sounded really intimidating. But actually, they are both pretty good when we're out in public, so I feel really blessed that we were able to do as many amazing things as we did!

This past Labor Day Weekend was awesome!! My family and I spend so much time together and I think it was a perfect way to kind of end the Summer.

Here's our weekend in a nutshell:

GASWORKS PARK, SEATTLE

WOODLAND PARK ZOO, SEATTLE

LAKE WILDERNESS

BBQ AT MY BFF'S HOUSE

PEDICURE (woot!)

Love it!
I'm where you were last summer--with my infant and young toddler, getting out of the house this summer has been a bit challenging! I'm really look forward to next summer when they'll be able to really do more things--like swimming :D.

I have a 1 and a 3 yr.old too! How have you managed two kids on your own in public most of the time? Meaning do you have to have a stoller most of the time? Does Easton follow you and older brother most of the time? My 3 yr old listens and I'm ok with letting him walking freely but for some reason my 1 yr old just takes off and make it diffcult to free both in public places without stoller :( I would love to take them to the beach by myself though but I'm scare...:( maybe next year...

I have been working on a "I don't want summer to end" post for two weeks now. I think it's hard to truly enjoy the summer when you have a wee one at home. I am REALLY looking forward to next summer. It was great getting to do fun stuff with you guys this weekend! What are we going to do when it's 40 degrees outside???

Such a beautiful place to live.. I need to move somewhere with all that GREEN!!
The kids would love all that scenery.
I would definitely be in heaven if I lived in any place where I could appreciate my surroundings :)

Sounds like a great way to end the summer. I am working on getting the first part of our vacation up on the blog now. We are enjoying soaking up the last bit of summer here in Myrtle Beach.
