Stitch Fix #7! Woot!

Here I am with Stitch Fix #7!! Can't believe I've already had SEVEN of these glorious little boxes sent to me. Obviously, I've thoroughly enjoyed this service.  I absolutely love being able to try things on in the comfort of my own home, and not have to try to tame two wild children in the fitting room with me. Not happenin'. Even the times I only end up keeping one item from my Fix, I'm a happy camper. This fix was pretty awesome. I liked all of the pieces except one!

If you need the details about Stitch Fix, here they are:

You go to stitchfix.com and you create your style profile. (there's currently a waitlist, but it's not long at all!) Then the Stich Fix stylists hand pick 5 items for you to try on. They send the clothing pieces directly to your house, you try them on and decide what to keep (if anything) and then you send back what you don't want. Easy peasy.
  • There's a $20 styling fee, which you can use toward your order. (that's awesome!!)
  • If you keep all 5 items you receive 25% off your order.
  • You choose your price range
  • The more feedback you give on the pieces sent to you, the better they get over time. So be sure to be very specific to your stylists so that they can send you things you'll love.
I promise, one day, I will take better photos than these lame-o dirty mirror selfies. But hey, you work with what you got.

Item # 1- Cheska Sheer Dot Top
This is cute. I like the colors & polka dots are my jam. So, there's that! And y'all know I have to bust out my cardigans when I'm trying stuff like this on.

Item #2 - Phoebe Dot & Stripe Mix Print Cardigan
Nope. Just nope. This is way too boxy and looks like something my Grandma might wear. Stitch fix, what where you thinking?

Item #3 - Bilson Pleat Detail Abstract Print Blouse
I'm in love with the colors in this blouse! So bright, but also really appropriate for the Fall. It's super flowy which I LOVE. The only thing I'm wondering, is about the length? Does it feel like it's an awkward length??

Item #4 - Mini Rose Buds & Gems Necklace
Yes. I'm keeping this. 'Nuff said.

Item #5 - Fierro Elbow Patch Crew Neck Sweater
When I first saw this, I was like "No! Not the elbow patches again! Shoot, I must have forgotten to give them feedback on those!" (because if you remember my last fix, I wasn't fond of the elbow patches) But actually, I really like them on this sweater! I think it's the color combination of the grey/pink that just works!

Overall, I am pretty pleased with this fix!! Most of the items were right up my alley and I could see myself wearing them this fall, for sure!

I do like the color combo with those elbow patches--and yeah, good call on the cardigan. That is very boxy and matronly, in my opinion.

I think the length in number three suits you perfectly! And you're right, that cardigan deserves a spot in the return box. Lastly, I love the colors in number five! I know your not a big elbow patch lady but they do look cute on that one.

Love it all, but I'm so jealous that they don't have something similar in Canada. Sigh.

I love #3 and the length looks great! It might be really cute with a chunky brown belt, skinny jeans (or jeggings) and boots! :)
