Happy Halloween 2013!

I am having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that it's HALLOWEEN right now. Like, today. And before I know it, we'll be celebrating Thanksgiving, and then Christmas, and then POOF, a whole new year. It's mind boggling how quickly time is going! But before I get too ahead of myself  here, of course I need to stop in and share some photos of my little cuties all dressed up.

What kind of Mommy & blogger would I be if I didn't? ;-)

My little Easton is a Jack O' Lantern this year. And really.. he's the cutest little pumpkin I've ever seen in all my life. My sister-in-law gave us this costume as a hand-me-down and I'm just giddy when I look at my littlest wearing it! Oh and us parents, we should stock up on cute/silly costumes for our little ones, because I'm tellin' you, it's impossible to stay upset at your kids when they are running around as little pumpkins. He could be throwing the biggest, ugliest tantrum in the world, but if he does it wearing this pumpkin costume -- it's not annoying, it's freaking cute. It would solve a lot of problems and frustration if we just kept our kids in cute costumes all day long. ;-)

And Bennett! He's our little skeleton!! Or as Bennett says It's his "bones" costume. And guess what? My Husband made his costume!! He bought black thermals from Walmart. He found a skeleton pattern online, and then went to Joann's fabric (Yes, he actually went into a fabric store by himself!), and got some felt. Then he cut it out and glued it on the thermals with fabric glue. He found some gloves that already had the skeleton hands on them and Viola! The only details that seem a little "unfinished" are his feet and his face. We decided we probably won't paint his face this year. But overall, I think it turned out pretty cute!

Onward with the costume fashion show...

We are going to hang around our neighborhood to go trick-or-treating, and then head up the street to see this crazy Pirates Of The Caribbean House! They go ALL out for Halloween. It's epic. I wish I could describe it, but you'll just have to wait and see pictures/video later! :)

Hope you all have an incredible Halloween and get lots of candy. Because let's face it, we pretty much each all of our kids Halloween candy, don't we? It's a right of passage as a parent. ;-)

What are your plans for Halloween this year? And what are you/your kids dressing up as??
