Stitch Fix #8 - I want the entire box!!

STITCH FIX Number 8 y'all!!! Crazy, huh?? And let me just preface this post by saying that out of 8 fabulous boxes, this one is my FAVORITE. Everything is super cute!! This service can be hit or miss sometimes, but when it's a hit -- it's amazing. There's almost nothing cooler than receiving a box of clothes on my doorstep. lol.

If you need the details about Stitch Fix, here they are:

You go to stitchfix.com and you create your style profile. Then the Stitch Fix stylists hand pick 5 items for you to try on. They send the clothing pieces directly to your house, you try them on and decide what to keep (if anything) and then you send back what you don't want. Easy peasy.
  • There's a $20 styling fee, which you can use toward your order. (that's awesome!!)
  • If you keep all 5 items you receive 25% off your order.
  • You choose your price range
  • The more feedback you give on the pieces sent to you, the better they get over time. So be sure to be very specific to your stylists so that they can send you things you'll love.
So this time around, I used a full length mirror (lucky you) ;-) because Stitch Fix sent me a skirt. So in order for me to show that to you, I needed to bust out my cheapy hangy mirror. Oh and I wore a hat in some of the photos just to switch it up a little.

I really like this top!! It's casual, but still classy. The pocket has some pretty detailed beading, which is awesome because I don't like beading when it's throughout an entire piece. But I think just concentrated on the pocket, give it the little embellishment that it needed.

I love stripes, that's no secret, so this put a smile on my face instantly. I will be honest, though, and tell you that I'm not really sure how to wear these kids of skirts. Do I tuck the shirt in? Wear boots or flats? I dunno. Skirts confuse me. lol.

When I first pulled this out of the box and saw the collar, I wasn't super excited about. BUT, after I tried it on, I changed my mind. The material is actually kind of like a heavy sweater material, so it's really soft and comfortable. And once I tried it on, I actually don't mind the collar at all! What do you think? Do I look like a sailor?

I. Love. This. And here's what I love about this. This is just a lace print, as opposed to having actual lace, and that is awesome because lace snags too much. This is SOLD.

And this?? *sigh* this is awesome. I love the colors, I love the print, I love how it goes perfectly with my rusty colored pants. The only setback?? It's pricier than I expected and I'm not sure I'm willing to fork over the money.

I was LOVING this entire box of clothing. Stitch fix pretty much hit this one out of the park. I'm really really excited to see what they send next time!! I know, Im' getting ahead of myself here, first I need to decide what I'm keeping out of this box. I know I get a 25% discount if I keep everything, but I'm super stingy. lol

I think the last blouse is my favorite on you!!! You can wear the skirt with flats or heels, doesn't matter! I would tuck in a shirt and wear it high on my hips (so basically what you did).

I love everything and you definitely have that signature hand on the hip move down. I do the exact same thing when I take a full body shot so maybe that's how I notice it so easily! Ha! Love that hat you are wearing too.

I love the first top! I looked how much the last one was - i googled it and woah. I just couldn't pay that much. But it is nice to dream!

The last two are my fav!! I think our styles are very similar. I love all these are all black/white/gray. That's basically what I live in! Do you might if I ask on average how much these shirts are? I'm considering doing this but I'm afraid they are a little out of my (cheap) price range!

The Ashlee blouse is gorgeous, I am loving tops like that right now. I really like the skirt too, I think it looks great with the tee tucked in and would look great with either boots or flats.
