Stitch Fix #9 - They are listening!!

Whoop!! Stitch Fix #9, and I'm SO excited about this one!! What I'm most excited about, is that I gave them very specific feedback about what I was looking for, and they totally listened to me! That means a lot. And I love the way they offer up suggestions on how to style the pieces they send, because heaven knows I need all the help I can get. lol.

If you need the details about Stitch Fix, here's the info:

You go to stitchfix.com and you create your style profile. Then the Stitch Fix stylists hand pick 5 items for you to try on. They send the clothing pieces directly to your house, you try them on and decide what to keep (if anything) and then you send back what you don't want. Easy peasy.
  • There's a $20 styling fee, which you can use toward your order. (that's awesome!!)
  • If you keep all 5 items you receive 25% off your order.
  • You choose your price range
  • The more feedback you give on the pieces sent to you, the better they get over time. So be sure to be very specific to your stylists so that they can send you things you'll love.
And as always, I apologize for the sloppy, out of focus pictures & the dirty mirror. ha. And if you look closely, you'll see my toddler enjoying his "quiet time" there in the background in some of the photos. #momlife.

And it was my lucky day because all of the pieces they sent went perfectly with the leggings & boots I was wearing :)

Item #1 - Colibri Plaid Printed Tab-Sleeve Shirt
This is a little out of my comfort zone, because it's not something I would usually buy. Or even try on in the store. But that's part of the reason I love Stitch Fix so much, they push me to experiment and try new things! And I'm glad I did because I actually really like this, I think it's perfect for the season!

Item #2 - Wilam Zig-Zag Print Top
Well, I guess they are getting to know me pretty well because this is right up  my alley. A little trendy? Yes. But it fits well, the colors are awesome. So, yes I will keep this!!

Item # 3 - Abrianna Longsleeve Knit Cardigan
As I was trying on the green/navy zig-zag shirt, I was wondering "hmm... what would I layer with this?" Oh!!! How about this perfect grey open front cardigan that Stitch Fix just sent me?? Perfect. Do I even need to think about this one? Not at all. I am keeping this.

Item # 4 - Susie Cabochon Stone & Art Deco Necklace
I love when Stitch Fix sends me items that pair perfectly with the other pieces in the box. It makes me want to buy them even more.

Item # 5 - Eugene Striped Button Detail Knit Shirt
So, this is apparently supposed to be a shirt, but it's SUPER long. And if I try to bunch it up it just looks funny. So... a super short & tight dress it became. lol
At first, I was a little torn about this. Because let's face it, I'm a curvy girl and my love handles & belly jiggle aren't exactly parts of my body I enjoy showing off. I don't feel comfortable wearing tight, form-fitting shirts/tunics like this by themselves. In fact, I just won't do it. BUT, again, the cardigan comes to the rescue and makes everything OK! I can kind of hide the fact that I look somewhere along the lines of 14 weeks pregnant, when in fact, I am not. lol. I'm still undecided about this, though. So what do you think??

My overall thoughts on this fix? I LOVE it. I really do. I can pretty much see myself wearing everything they sent, which makes me super happy! I kinda wanna keep it all. The only things I still need to decide about are the striped shirt and the plaid shirt. I NEED your opinions! :)

If you want to sign up for Stitch Fix, use this link right here, and I will get a referral credit! And then I'd love you forever. :)

I actually really love the striped shirt best out of all of the tops, both with and without the cardigan (the other tops are cute too!). I totally feel ya about how tops like that fit, especially over something as non-structured as tights. Maybe some shapewear underneath if it would make you more comfortable? I think it looks fine as-is, but you're the one who has to feel comfortable in what you're wearing!

I love it all! You're super adorable.
And don't you get a discount for keeping all 5 pieces? That alone is motivation to keep the pieces that are a stretch for your comfort zone!

Everything looks great, I do love the cardigan the best. I am always drawn to them myself. I may start to think about trying this out after the first of the year. You always seem so happy with what you get.

Outfit #3 is just a big, humongous YES.

If you don't feel comfortable in #5, you won't ever be happy wearing it. Even though the 25% off is tempting....I'd probably pass.

Love the shirt, "tunic" and the cardigan!! Are the pieces expensive or affordable?

I actually really like all of those pieces (except #1...just not my style)! That never tends to happen when I see people's fix! You give me hope that Stitch Fix could work for me. My only concern is that my Pinterest board is way more adventurous than I am in real life!

I like all of them! I totally love #5 on you. It looks great with the cardigan. But the main thing is for you to feel comfortable! but I love the entire outfit, boots/leggings included :)
