My first Ipsy Glambag!!

Y'all know I have a serious addiction to home delivery services. Anything I get get in a little box.. I'm all over it. I used to subscribe to Birchbox, but after a year, decided to call it quits. But since then, I've had Stitch Fix to sort of satisfy my addiction. Honestly, though, I've kind of missed receiving beauty products, so I decided to give the Ipsy Glambag a whirl.

It works really similar to other subscription services. Each month, you will get in the mail a Glam Bag with deluxe samples and some full-sized products. It's only $10/month! Score.

So here is what I got in my Glam Bag.

Elizabeth Mott - Smooth Shadow
I really like this. It's versatile, which I love. It can be used as a top lid liner, as a highlighter, on the waterline or as a base for blending shadow. And It glides on super easy and has a really pretty shimmer to it!

MicaBeauty - Tinted Lip Balm
I'm obsessed with this. The texture is really awesome and the color is super pretty!! Putting this in my makeup bag in my purse immediately.

Nourish Organic - Lightweight Moisturizing Face Lotion
I've only used this once so far but I like it! Refreshing and smells amazing!

Briogeo - Deep Conditioning Mask
This stuff is legit. Not only does it smell like heaven, but it makes my hair the softest I've ever felt it! It's loaded full of nutrients that are supposed to help with breakage and increase elasticity and restore moisture. I think I'll buy more of this.

Proactiv - Mark Fading Pads
Meh. this was the only thing I wasn't really happy with. I think it would be great if it was something I was planning to use daily. But since you just get a "sample" of this... and don't really see immediate results, I'm unlikely to purchase more. You know what I mean?

Overall, I was pretty happy with this Glam Bag and will definitely be continuing with Ipsy for a few more months, at least!!

Here are some close ups of the products I enjoyed the most this time around :)

Have you tried a beauty product subscription box? Which ones have you loved?

I currently subscribe to Birchbox (you're right, what girl doesn't love getting beauty samples) but was wondering how it compares to Ipsy. Was it worth the trade off, is there a huge difference in the quality of the products?

I loved Birchbox but also quit after a year just because I did the math and it was an unecessary $120 a year. I miss it though! I liked stitch fix too!

I hear you on the mark fading pads! It takes a good two weeks of use before you start to notice a difference, so only a few samples would annoy me! I totally want that moisturizer though.

I just received my first ipsy bag this month. It wasn't the most exciting bag. But worth the $10

I also love the glambag! They seem to do a better job with sending things customized to your profile. This reminds me I've been meaning to do a post on it as well!!

I've been on the fence about doing this one. I did Birchbox for a year, and I felt like I got so many samples that I never used. I just don't want to have to do that all over again. I want stuff that will actually get put to use instead of thrown in a bathroom cabinet.

Ipsy is my favorite! My bag was completely different than yours, though.

I LOVE the Ipsy Glam Bag! For the cost, I think it's the best subscription out there right now. Definitely better than Birchbox!
