The University of Washington campus is known for their amazing Cherry Blossom trees in the Spring. So this past weekend, my family and I drove out to Seattle and wandered the enormous campus to just take it all in.
The kids seemed truly amazed at just the sheer size of not only the University, but of the Cherry Blossom Trees. The trees themselves are roughly 80 years old, so they are very mature and absolutely enormous.
And the UW is an old school (founded in 1861), so when you couple the intricate architecture + the gorgeous blossoming trees that canopy the brick pathways... it really is breathtaking. I wish my photos could do it even a little bit of justice!
