Where I write.

As bloggers, we sit behind our desks, our computers, and we write. We connect with each other. We all have our own little space where we get inspired and create our content. Ever get curious what someone's workspace looks like?

Here's my little spot, this is where I work. Most times it looks much messier than this. My desk seems to be a catch-all for all kinds of stuff. At any given time, you're likely to find a stack of bills and papers, my camera, no less than 25 sticky notes, memory cards, my planner, a random spiderman book, and always a large beverage of some kind.

But as messy as it is, this desk is where I sit and edit my client's photo sessions. This is where I blog.

I have spent countless hours here writing, thinking, and pouring out my heart, telling personal stories and sharing experiences. This is also where I have made lifelong connections with fellow bloggers. This corner of my office is so important to me. It's my sanctuary in a way.

When we first moved into our house a couple of years ago, I had big plans for my office. New desk, new paint, curtains, a cute rug.... etc, well it never happened. Okay I take some of that back, the desk happened.. I got my new Expedit desk from Ikea, and I still love it so much. But I never got around to the rest of it because somehow my office has turned into the guest bedroom/dumping ground for whatever we don't have a spot for.

Which I guess is okay, but I still have dreams of what my work space will look like one day. I mean, I spend quite a bit of time in here, this is one of the spaces that means the most to me... so I want it to be a reflection of who I am. I gravitate toward white, grey, yellow and teal. And the image in my head looks something like this:

Simple, but bright and cheery! Okay, maybe the chandelier is a little extravagant, but hey... a girl can dream, right? One day, when I have the entire office to myself, I'll get to decorate exactly how I want. But in the meantime, I'm suppose I'm happy in my little corner! :)

What does your dream workspace look like??

Thank you for sharing something so personal with us. I know you will get your workspace someday. :) Also my dream office would be a lot of pink and lace and girly things.

My work space is either sitting on my bed or sitting in the chair in the living room. I have a room where I could just blog but the chair in their is horrible and I don't like having a tv for background noise. If our bedroom were bigger I would put a desk in here and have it as my blogging space. I really do wish I had an official space...maybe one day.

Beautiful. Our study is the one room that hasn't had any attention since we built our house. Now with a baby on the way it seems to have moved down the priority list once again. I do have plans though! I hope I can get my study looking as nice as yours very soon. :)

I love your space and what it means to you - it is totally all about the thoughts, creations & connections that are born in the space.

Mine tends to be a messy catch-all, but I love home office spaces enough to have created a Pinterest board dedicated - some day? ;)

I've just recently carved out a spot in our house for a desk/office area for myself. It's a slow process for it to all come together, but it's coming. Love your inspiration.
