Breaking in the Summer with the sprinkler!

Yesterday wasn't overly hot, but it was very muggy, so it seemed like the perfect time to bust out the sprinkler. And in my opinion, it's not officially Summer until your kids run through the sprinkler.

Although, my littlest wasn't into actually running through it. But he would walk up and stick his head in like a dog, or try to drink it like it was a water fountain. But hey, that counts as playing in the sprinkler, right? ;-)

Bennett, though?? He goes CRAZY over it. I don't think the kid stopped smiling the entire time he was out there.

As much as I love going out on adventures with my boys, I so appreciate these memories being made right in our own backyard. Hope they remember them as fondly as I do ❤

Looks like fun! I completely remember the days when my siblings and I would stick on our swimsuits, drag the hose into the middle of the yard, and attach our 101 Dalmation sprinkler head to it (a birthday present that my parents just **loved** from a loving Aunt). All 4 of us would be out there, running around and jumping through it, giggling our heads off and squealing like piglets. And it was a blast.

Definitely fond of summer memories like these and your kids will be too :)

I'm such a sucker for pictures that perfectly capture water droplets. For some reason I'm always like "wow!!".

We've totally broken out playing in the hose already this summer. It's a great time :)

Aw we had a sprinkler just like that growing up, it's perfect for those humid days when you can't make it to the pool!

Love these! I remember having so much fun with sprinklers as a kid...a pool was too much money and work, but the sprinkler got used daily during summer. Such little cuties!
