June Stitch Fix Review

Whoa, two posts in one day?? I normally wouldn't do that, but, stitch fix. Come on! I gotta. :)

Doesn't it seem like I JUST got my last Fix? Well, I may or may not have changed my Stitch Fix subscription so that it comes every 3 weeks (as opposed to every 6 weeks like I was doing before!). Whoops. I just can't help it, though. This is by far the best "box" service I've ever encountered. I continue to be blown away by the pieces they send and how well they seem to understand my style!

And this month?? They didn't disappoint. I mean, look at these colors and patterns?!

If you need the details about Stitch Fix, here's the info:

You go to stitchfix.com and you create your style profile. Then the Stitch Fix stylists hand pick 5 items for you to try on. They send the clothing pieces directly to your house, you try them on and decide what to keep (if anything) and then you send back what you don't want. Easy peasy.
  • There's a $20 styling fee, which you can use toward your order. (that's awesome!!)
  • If you keep all 5 items you receive 25% off your order.
  • You choose your price range
  • The more feedback you give on the pieces sent to you, the better they get over time. So be sure to be very specific to your stylists so that they can send you things you'll love.
I changed my style profile. Ever since I started Stitch Fix, I have told them to avoid sending pants of any kind. It's one thing to send tops, because basically I wear a Medium, and that's that. But pants?? I'm super picky about the fit and I honestly didn't trust anyone else to get my sizing correct. But I went out on a limb and decided to add pants to the list of things they could send me. You'll have to refer to the picture below to see how it turned out :)

Item #1 - Yanna Floral Print Flutter Sleeve Blouse
This is really really pretty. I love how feminine it is and the pattern is lovely. However, the fabric is gets a little static-y, which I get annoyed by. So I'm torn on this.

Item #2 - Cathleen Abstract Chevron Tulip-Sleeve Blouse
Item #3 - Kaleigh Ankle Biter Skinny Jean

Let's talk about the top first. I'm in love with the bright colors and the fun pattern, and I think it fits me well. But I'm a little stuck because I'm not sure I love the poof in the shoulders. I don't know what you do think??

And the pants?? As I mentioned above, I have opted out of receiving pants of any kind since the very beginning, but recently changed my style profile to include pants. I am SHOCKED that they fit as well as they do. They're super stretchy and comfortable, and the length is actually spot on. Most pants are super long on me since I'm only 5'3". Green isn't my favorite color, though. So I'm undecided on these bad boys.

Item #4 - Corinna Striped Heathered Dolman Top
I'm in comfy-stripey-dolman-top heaven right now. This is absolutely my style. It's great for all seasons, looking forward to wearing it on those chilly Summer evenings. I don't think they could have sent me anything more perfect.  KEEPING THIS.

Item #5 - Lannie Striped Maxi Skirt
Again with the comfy-stripey heavenly feeling. And if you remember from my previous fix that included a maxi shirt, it was way too long on me so I sent it back. But this one? Fits great!!  I'm kind of digging the bright colors on this as well!! This is most definitely being added to my closet.

I'm super happy with everything they sent!! I'm for sure keeping at least the the last two! Kinda shows you were my priorities are, huh? Comfort takes the win. What are your thoughts on this month's fix??

Have you been wanting to try Stitch Fix?? I highly recommend it. If you ever need any tips or advise when it comes to Stitch Fix, let me know. I've been doing it a lonnnnng time now so I feel like I kinda have a handle on how things work :)

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!! xoxo

I get what you mean on that first one, but I love it! So pretty! I love the second top too, and I'm totally pinning it to my inspiration board...

I'd probably send back the pants, but that's just because I don't know that I'd really wear green pants. I'm not that adventurous! And I got that last top in my box and hated it...shows how things fit people so differently!

I'm so excited to get my first "fix" next month! I love your little fashion show in this post... and for what it's worth - I think you should keep the green pants. They look great!

That first top is amazing! I would keep it and figure out how to get the static to go away!! It's beautiful!

I also agree about the shoulders on the second top. I love the jeans on you and agree with the last two.

I wish we had stitch fix in Canada!!

Love the last two too! I may have also recently changed my Stitch Fix shipments to every three weeks as well ;)

I have thought about trying it out, but I am worried about the price of each item! I usually don't spend like $40-$50 on any one piece of clothing and I thought that I read that it usually ranges that per item. So I am not exactly sure if it's something too much for me. I love the pants on you! Maybe out of your comfort zone, or usual pick, but I think that's the fun in it! And it looks great with the dolman top!

The dolman, totally 100% definite keeper.

I actually like the little poof in the shoulders. It's unique and really cute!

OMG, the maxi! I want! I received those green pants in one of my first fixes, and kept them. I still love them! I say keep! I agree about the shoulders in that one top. Cute, but, eh. :-\

I'm a sucker for colorful pants, so I would snatch those green ones up in a heartbeat! They look super cute on you, though. I'd say go for it. :-)

Love love love the dolman top and the maxi! I would pass on the poofy shoulder shirt. I like the green pants, they look great and they are something a little different. I like the first shirt because I rarely see you in something so bright!

Love the flutter sleeve blouse and the maxi skirt on you.

p.s. You look great! That white tee in the maxi skirt pic really shows off your teeny waist. :)

I love #2. I really think you should keep it. It is really pretty. I don't like it w/ the green jeans though. I would wear it w/ white pants for a dressy night out or w/ shorts for more casual! You got a good fix this month. Every 3 weeks? That is a lot of new clothes if you end up keeping something every time!! :)

I've never heard of this but I'm signing up right now! It looks so fun! What size do they go up to? I'm 5 foot so I love they send short items.

As for your pieces, the last two are the only ones I'd keep but you look great in everything. Even #2!
