Life Lately, according to Instagram

I'm getting packed and ready to take the kiddos to Ocean Shores with my Mom for a couple of days and I'm stoked. It's really nice to break from our normal routine and give the kids some new experiences. The last time I went to the coast, Bennett was around 1 1/2 and Easton wasn't born yet ;-).. so I'm really excited to take Easton for the first time. It's actually not that that far for us to get to the ocean at all, only a couple of hours so I don't know why it's taken so long for me to get the boys over there.

Follow us on Instagram for those upcoming adventures :-)

Speaking of IG, I feel like so much of the every day stuff gets dumped there, as it should. But I still like to update the blog on our every day happenings sometimes, too. So this post is just sort of a "life according to instagram" post. Kinda boring, but it's my life.

Easton has really shown an interest in the bike lately. This one is Bennett's, but he's actually getting way too big for it -- so it's kinda Easton's now. But it's so strange to see him sitting there with a helmet on. Wasn't he JUST born?! What the heck. He can't pedal quite yet, but it's only a matter of time I'm sure!

I had a killer workout the other day. I went to the gym in the morning for my usual work out, and then I came back to help film a promo video for Rizzmic. It ended up being a little over 3 hours of exercise that morning and I'm not complaining. Burn those calories, yo!

This stuff is the bomb. I recently discovered it while browsing Walgreens and I'm never giving it up. It basically adds this amazing sea-salt grittyness to your hair, which helps to liven and thicken it up a little. Plus it smells like the ocean, so, bonus! I actually use it mostly when I am planning to put my hair up. It adds quite a bit of texture so it's not so limp and lifeless. Go get it.

We have had a few days of rain this week and it's been really nice actually. Don't get me wrong, I love the Summer and the sun, but sometimes the smell and sound of the rain can be so soothing. Not to mention, the cooler temps have been much appreciated. But not for too long. I don't want Summer to be over just yet :-)

My best friend and I had the opportunity and pleasure to have a night out at Olive Garden, and sample their new menu. It was such a fun experience and I was pretty impressed with the new recipes! Oh and the breadsticks?? I may or may not have requested another round of them just so I could take some home with me. lol

How has your week been?? What have you been up to?

OG is the best.

I enjoy IG dumps because it's so easy to miss a picture here and there! It's nice having them all in one place :)

And yeah, Easton on that bike!! What in the world!! So grown.
