December Stitch Fix - Holiday Edition!

Heyyyyy guys!! Long time no talk. Things have been a little nutty around here. Between Thanksgiving, our trip to the beach, and the insane amount of editing I've been doing on recent sessions -- I've been swamped! The good news is that work has slowed down for me and now I can just focus on the Holiday's and hopefully, this blog a little more ;-)
I actually didn't post my stitch fix from last month.... (re: too busy). But I can promise you, it was a good one. Here's a picture of my two favorite pieces I got from my November fix!

If you need the details about Stitch Fix, here's the details:

First, go to stitchfix.com and you create your style profile. Also, create a Stitch Fix Style pinboard and link it to your profile so that your stylists can get a feel for your clothing tastes and preferences. Then schedule your fix!! The stylists will hand pick 5 items for you to try on. They send the clothing pieces directly to your house, you try them on and decide what to keep (if anything) and then you send back what you don't want. Super easy and convenient!
  • There's a $20 styling fee, which you can use toward your order. (that's awesome!!)
  • If you keep all 5 items you receive 25% off your order.
  • You choose your price range.
  • The more feedback you give on the pieces sent to you, the better they get over time. So be sure to be very specific to your stylists so that they can send you things you'll love.
This month, I was determined to get a post up for y'all! They sent me really Holiday-ish things, which makes me kinda happy. But I'll admit, when I pulled some of the items out of the box, I wasn't really sure what I was going to think... not really my style. However, this is one of the reasons I love Stitch Fix - because while they definitely try to send things that fit my style, they also challenge me to try on pieces I wouldn't normally pick up in the store. And to my surprise, I really liked a lot of these items!

Oh and I apologize that I'm back to really crappy quality photos. But you know, I'm lazy.

Item # 1 - Taber Foldover 3/4 Sleeve Sweater
Stitch Fix knows how to win me over with cowl neck sweaters, that's for sure!! I do like this a lot, and chances are, I will keep it! :-)

Item #2 - Sam Hi-Lo Short Sleeve Tee
This is a pretty basic grey t-shirt. I dressed it up with a cute scarf I got from Stitch Fix several months ago, and it's definitely something I'd wear. But.... I think I'm going to pass because I have a lot of similar tops like it.

Item #3 - Sheryl Metallic Dot Detail Blouse
When I pulled this out of the box, I liked the style a lot, but I didn't think I would like the way it fit, it seemed a little boxy. Once I put it on, though, I did really love it. I like the cut, and the gold dots add a little fun flare to it, especially during the Holiday season! However, I feel like I could go a size down, maybe??

Item #4 - Lizzy Colorblock Striped Sweater
This is definitely a comfortable sweater, and would be one of those every-day wear kind of tops. But I don't know that I like the colors together. I don't know, I'm torn. What do you think?

Item #5 - Benzer Mixed Material Sweater
This was the thing that surprised me the most! I will admit, I didn't think I would like this at all, you know, how the "blouse" is just a piece of material attached to the bottom of the sweater. But I was shocked when I put it on and actually really really liked it! It's not only comfortable, but it's also kinda classy I think. I really want to keep this, I think I'm keeping this. My only hesitation is I'm wondering how much I'll wear it?

And that's it for my December fix!! I really liked most of it, but I'm still really torn actually! What do you think? I need your opinions!!

Thanks Stitch Fix!!

Keep the bottom one! It's super cute & you could wear it anywhere really!
The striped sweater is cute! When I first scrolled without reading, that was my favorite on you!
I think you could go down a size in the shirt with gold things on it.
And I agree with the grey tank & the cowl shirt :)

I love the bottom top and would definitely keep it! I tried one on recently and was so surprised at how comfortable it was and how much I liked it! I would keep it, especially if you don't have anything similar already :)

I love all of it! I haven't taken the plunge and subscribed yet because I'm afraid I would want to keep everything every month!

I just posted my November fix TODAY! So, I hear on being behind, haha! Yes on the cowl and no on the stripes. I think the gold stud one works ok as long as you wear skinnies to balance out the flow :)

I really liked the last one !
The black one is nice but it does look like a size smaller would fit you better! Now that you are a work out queen! :)
