Making Over My Makeup Stash With Victoria Jackson® Cosmetics

I'll be the first to admit that I'm no expert when it comes to makeup, however, I do have a bit of an obsession. I've developed quite a large collection of make-up over the years, some of which I hardly ever wear.

Recently, I've decided to do sort of a spring cleaning around my house. Mostly my closet, though. But the urge to get rid of things also includes my bathroom essentials, including my makeup stash. I would rather have makeup products I really love and use often, then a bunch of products that just sit and take up space in my storage under the sink. It doesn't take long for things to start overflowing. Just ask my Husband. I think he's actually scared to look under my side of the bathroom counter.... it's in complete disarray. Whoops.

*I participated in this sponsored campaign on behalf of Victoria Jackson® and One2One Network. All opinions stated are my own.
So as I'm cleaning out my makeup drawer, I have several core & basic items of makeup that I use almost every single day, and they definitely won't be tossed in the trash. You know the products I'm talking about right?? The ones you replenish yearly, or bi-yearly, or however often you need to! But they are absolutely essential and you always go back to them. Here are some on my list, all by Victoria Jackson® cosmetics.

  • Foundation Duo
  • Lush Mascara
  • Perfect Everyday Blush
  • Gentle Eye & Face Makeup Remover
All four of these are absolutely going to make the cut as I clean out my makeup stash. In fact, they have become staples. If I only had 5 minutes to throw on some makeup really quickly, I would grab mascara, blush, and now days, foundation.

I actually stopped wearing foundation for a long time, because I didn't like the way it felt on my face. It always felt heavy and I could never find something that matched my complexion perfectly. But the Victoria Jackson® Foundation Duo has changed my mind, I think I'm a believer again. And the blush is superb! But I think the most important product, is makeup remover!! As much as I love my makeup products, it feels good to strip it off at the end of the day. This Gentle Eye & Makeup Remover is fabulous, I can't rave about it enough!

And I can't very well talk about makeup without posting a super awkward close up of my face, right? In all honesty, I hate close ups like this, you can see all of my wrinkles and imperfections. I mean, thankfully, the foundation helps to even out my complexion a little, but I really wanted to show off these products. Don't make fun of my bunny teeth. For some reason whenever I get weird in front of the camera, my two little front teeth emerge from my closed-mouth smile. lol. But isn't this blush superb??

And guys, right now, use code: LOVEVJC to receive 25% off your order! Treat yourself to some new makeup :-)

Are you a collector of makeup as well?? How often do you clear out your stash? And what are your must-have products??

I do wear makeup basically everyday, but am not any kind of expert! I wear Mary Kay and have since middle school. I have always liked their products and you can return anything that you don't like or isn't a good color on you! I try to clean it all out once a year or so!

<3 makeup! I haven't tried Victoria Jackson Cosmetics - must try some of these out.

I think I've worn foundation exactly once in my life, when I was a bridesmaid in a wedding, and a professional applied it for me. It's always looked so tricky to apply smoothly!
