My Cleaning Personality + A Sweepstakes!

First thing's first. Take this quiz to find our your cleaning personality. Then come back and read my post :)

I think it's true that we all have a philosophy when it comes to the cleanliness of our homes. Some of us are a bit OCD (for lack of a better word), and the house must be immaculate at all times. Other's actually feel more comfortable with a little mess around. It makes us feel like we're "home." Do you know what I mean?

I think I'm somewhere in between. Some days, I just don't care what the house looks like, I will step over the same pile of toys 47 times a day and never think twice about putting them away. If they really start to get in the way, a simple nudge out of the walking path will suffice. But other days, even the smallest amount of clutter makes me feel like a crazy person. Must. Put. It. All. Away. Right. Now! I literally cannot function if I see a single toy out, or a crumb on the kitchen floor. You never know what you're going to get with me, when it comes to cleaning. Just ask my Husband.

One thing I'm consistent about, though, is my cleaning "personality." It's true, we all have one. I recently took the Bona Keep It Clean Personality Quiz, and got the result of "Multitasker." Sounds about right to me. Here's what it had to say about me:
"Your cleaning personality is...
Some days feel like a blur with all of the stuff you manage to fit in. Sports, clubs, work and meetings fill your days, meaning cleaning is just another item on your "To Do" list. An extra set of arms would help, but until they start making blouses with four sleeves, fitting cleaning in to your busy schedule will have to do."
Pretty accurate, I think. Wouldn't that be nice if I had an extra set of arms?? But here's the truth, I don't despise cleaning. I really don't. Well, okay I take that back, I despise doing dishes. The literal worst thing is doing dishes, as far as cleaning goes. A close second is laundry. But everything else? Cleaning the bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping... no problem.

Speaking of mopping, I'll be the first to say that I don't generally mop a ton. I tend to do a quick sweep, and then call it good. But I will say, that going the extra distance and taking the mop out, is so much more satisfying.

I used the Bona Hardwood Floor Mop to clean up my kitchen floors really well right before we left on our vacation (because I can't stand coming home from vacation to a messy house!), and was loving the results. Here are some quick things to note about Bona:
  • Bona Hardwood Floor cleaners are non-toxic and GREENGUARD certified.
  • Bona’s suite of solutions for hardwood floors, wood furniture and stone/tile/laminate floors make cleaning easy and effective
  • Won’t leave any residue behind
  • Third-party certified to be safe and effective

Here's the exciting part. Just  by simply taking the Keep It Clean Personality Quiz, you will be entered to win a Bona® Hardwood Floor Mop Express instantly! AND, the even better part?? Registering will enter you for the chance to win a year of cleaning services for your home, and the grand prize? A trip for 4 to HAWAII!!

Best of luck to everyone, and happy cleaning! Oh wait, don't go without signing up for the BonaFide Fanatics mailing list and grabbing your instant $3 off coupon for any Bona product!

Even the kiddos can help with the mopping!

I got the social butterfly, which of this were a personality quiz I'd think was totally wrong, but I like my cleaning to be quick and easy so I can move on to more important things haha.

I need to check into this, because we are constantly looking for a great way to clean our hardwood floors. I've heard of this brand before, but never really looked into too much. Loved this post!
