Disney's California Adventure 2015

So I realize that we've been home from California now for almost a month, and I'm just now getting around to posting about our day at Disney!! Fail. We actually chose to go to Disney's California Adventure this time, instead of Disneyland. We had a blast at Disneyland in October, but we thought it'd be fun to try a different park, and I'm super glad we did!!

My kids are literally obsessed with CA Adventure. I don't think a day has gone by since we've been home, that they haven't mentioned it. The entire day was so amazing. It was actually raining for about the first hour we were there, and I think it helped to keep some of the crowds away, because there were hardly lines for anything! The biggest line was by far for the Radiator Springs Racers. My Husband and Bennett waited for 75 minutes to go on that ride!! Yikes. But that was really the only ride that had any kind of long line. But from what the two of them told me, was that it was totally worth it. Meanwhile, Easton and I went on 5 rides together, just him and I. :-)

*I was provided media passes to Disneyland, but all opinions are my own.

The day cleared up and turned out to be just gorgeous!! We ended up staying almost until the park closed! The kids did incredible, I honestly can't recall any whining or crying from either one of them, it was a miracle. We rented a stroller while we there, which helped a ton! The kids took turns in it so they wouldn't get too tired, because we did a ton of walking. But they were total troopers!

We went on a ton of rides with them, but their favorites were Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, Mickey's Fun Wheel, Radiator Springs Racer's, Golden Zephyr, and Tuck & Rolls Drive Em Buggies. But their very favorite ride was Toy Story Midway Mania. They did that one 3 or 4 times! They also really really enjoyed the Parade. Seeing all their favorite characters riding by on the floats was super exciting for them!

My favorite ride? California Screamin'. Philip and I took turn taking the kids on the Carousel so that the the other could go to the roller coaster. No way was I going to pass up the chance to ride that coaster, it was pretty awesome. I mean, it would have been more fun if Philip & I could have ridden it together, but I'll take what I can get! ;-)

The boys both really loved A Bug's Land, there was a lot to do there for their age group!! Poor little Easton was so tired he passed out in the Stroller around 3:00pm, he slept through the experience we had meeting Flick. And actually, Bennett is pretty afraid of the big characters walking around the park. He will wave from afar, but he's never wanted to go up close to talk to them or get a photo. But when he saw Flick, I don't know what what is was about him, but he mustered up the courage and went over to "meet" him. It was the cutest thing. A moment I will always remember. :-) And of course, we had to get a picture with Flick and Easton in the same shot (even though he was sleeping), so we could show E when he woke up.

I have nothing but amazing memories from our day at California Adventure!! Just last night, my Husband and I were laying in bed and he expressed to me that he would like to take the kids back there! I'm crossing my fingers that we can make that happen, because it was one of the best days I've ever had with my family!

Before you go, here's a video I took of Easton and I on Mater's Junkyard Jamboree! His little squeals and squee's make my Disney-loving Mama heart so giddy! :)

Have you been to Disney's California Adventure? What did you think?? And what was your favorite ride??

I live in California and go to Disneyland and California at every chance I get! My favorite ride is absolutely the radiator springs ride, so worth the long lines! Did you guys stay for the World of Color water show? It is amazing! :)

So much fun! I haven't been to Disney in so so so long! I need to get my kids there. We're closer to Disneyworld now, and I've never been there. It's going to be an adventure.
