May Stitch Fix - Spring Colors & Florals!

Happy MAY y'all! I'm feeling quite giddy and Spring-y these days! The warmer weather is approaching and I'm SO ready for it. I told my stylist I really wanted some light and airy pieces. And I also wanted pretty colors, and some florals for the season. She most certainly delivered on all my requests!

If you're wondering about Stitch Fix, here is the low down:

First thing, go to stitchfix.com and you create your style profile. Also, be sure to create a Stitch Fix Style pinboard and link it to your profile so that your stylists can get a feel for your clothing tastes and preferences. Then schedule your fix!! The stylists will hand pick 5 items for you to try on. They send the clothing pieces directly to your house, you try them on and decide what to keep (if anything) and then you send back what you don't want. Super easy and convenient!
  • There's a $20 styling fee, which you can use toward your order. (that's awesome!!)
  • If you keep all 5 items you receive 25% off your order.
  • You choose your price range.
  • The more feedback you give on the pieces sent to you, the better they get over time. So be sure to be very specific to your stylists so that they can send you things you'll love.
Not that I haven't said this a million times, but I love Stitch Fix! They keep my closet interesting and I still get excited every time I see one of those cute Stitch Fix boxes show up on my doorstep! Alright, so let's move onto the good stuff!

And I apologize, I had to take these photos as selfie's in my mirror, I was crunched on time!

Item #1 - Marvel Knit Top
I really like this. Do I love it? Not really. But it's comfortable, and fits well. I like the colors, and I usually love stripes....But I'm not sure on the style of the stripes on this top. I really could go either way on this. I need your opinions?!!

Item #2 - York Geo Print Henley Blouse
Item #3 - Kate Boyfriend Jeans
First, let's talk about the blouse. LOVE. I think the pattern is unique and super cute. I'm really excited about this top!! Only thing is that it's a little bit long, but I tucked it in, which is how I will most likely wear it, and I think it works really well!?

My stylist has actually sent me these jeans in the past, and I really liked them a lot, but they were too big. I think this particular brand runs big (Kut from the Kloth). But anyway, so she sent me a small size and they fit pretty well! I think I want to keep these. Although, I don't know much more use they will get with the Summer months ahead. But -- they'll keep just fine in my closet. :-)

Item #4 - Page Flutter Sleeve Blouse
Talk about feminine and Spring-y. This is perfection as far as those two things go! You can't tell from this picture because of how I'm standing, but it's slightly too big for me (in my opinion).... mostly it's big across the chest and neckline. BUT, I don't think that's a deal breaker because it's super pretty. Amiright??

Item #5 - Lennox Hammered Cuff
I don't usually like getting jewelry, for a couple of reasons. One, I don't wear it very often. And two, I'm super super picky about what jewelry I put on. But this gold hammered cuff is really awesome! It's not too thick, but it still makes a statement. And I've been digging gold lately, so that's a plus!!

And that's it for May's Stitch Fix! What do you think??

I love your Stitch Fix reviews. I always find the best things to pin from you. :) Would you mind sharing what materials are in your tops? I love all three but don't want any more polyester blouses from SF right now (they've sent me a bunch in the past). Thanks!

Mandy, I love how soft your photos are here in this post - especially the first one. I still haven't gotten a stitch fix, I think it's best for my wallet if I don't because I can imagine loving a lot of the things they'd send. LOVE that page flutter blouse print for sure. You're keeping it right? :)
