Viva Las Vegas, Baby!

About a month ago, my sister and I decided we needed a little girls getaway. And it only took us one hot minute to decide on Las Vegas. It's affordable and there's tons to do! So, just like that, we booked our trip and the weeks flew by until it the day arrived for us to hop a plain to Sin City ;-)

We spent this past weekend wandering the Las Vegas strip, and enjoying life without (too much) responsibility! The weather was perfection, 70 degrees and sunny! Boom.

On Friday morning, I had a whole morning at the spa. I'm talking massage, facial, body polish, steam room... etc. It was so lovely. Then that night we went to see Criss Angel at the Luxor. I just think magicians are so fascinating! He did some tricks & illusions that truly left us stunned and bewildered. I woke up the next morning still thinking "how the HECK did he do that!?" lol.

Okay and here was the highlight of the entire trip. Celine Dion.

A little background -- Ever since I was a young girl, I have loved Celine Dion. Like, adored and admired her. When I was 13, I performed and competed a dance solo to one of her songs. Ever since then, I have always wanted to see her in concert. I actually put it on my bucket list items of things to do. Over the years, it's just never quite worked out. Until last weekend :-)

I finally got to see Celine Dion in concert at Caesers Palace, and she was literally amazing. Like, chills & goosebumps and everything. Not only is she (obviously) one of the most talented singers ever, but she is humble & classy, and so so gracious. The whole experience was incredible and memorable. And... if I'm being totally honest, I may have teared up a little. I know, I know, cheesy as heck. But don't judge me, because you probably would have, too ;-) It was worth every single penny, and more!

Here are just a few pictures from our trip to Vegas this past weekend (as seen on Instagram)!

Until next time, Vegas!!

Not cheezy at all. Who doesn't love Celine Dion? That sounds amazing. And a sisters girls weekend is a wonderful thing. My sister and I did one with our mom in January, and it was SO great. We saw Newsies in Orlando. It was awesome and also nostalgic.
