First Stitch Fix of Twenty Sixteen!

HI!! We just got back from vacation in California, and I am excited to share it with you!! (that's a post for next week). But for now, I have my January fix to show you!!

It has been a little bit since I've posted my Stitch Fix items! But I assure you, I am still very much in love with this service & have been getting fixes for the past few months. But you know how time gets away sometimes and before you know it, months have gone by! I'm doing my best to get back to some sort of blogging routine, but guys, I'm failing miserably.

BUT in the name of fashion, and because I really love some of the pieces I got in my latest fix, I thought I'd better get my butt in gear and share this fix with you! :-)

In case you've been living under a rock ;-) and have no idea about Stitch Fix,  let me enlighten you!

First thing, stitchfix.com and check it out! Next, create your style profile. Also, be sure to start a Stitch Fix Style pinboard and link it to your profile so that your stylists can get a feel for your clothing tastes and preferences. Then schedule your fix!! The stylists will hand pick 5 items for you to try on. They send the clothing pieces directly to your house, you try them on and decide what to keep (if anything) and then you send back what you don't want. Super easy and convenient!
  • There's a $20 styling fee, which you can use toward your order. (that's awesome!!)
  • If you keep all 5 items you receive 25% off your order.
  • You choose your price range.
  • The more feedback you give on the pieces sent to you, the better they get over time. So be sure to be very specific to your stylists so that they can send you things you'll love.
Not that I haven't said this a million times, but I love Stitch Fix! They keep my closet interesting and I still get excited every time I see one of those cute Stitch Fix boxes show up on my doorstep!

Okay onto this months fix! I told my stylist to give me some pretty blouses, and things that I could dress up or dress down. She did a great job!

Item #1 - Ensenada V-Neck Blouse
Well be still my heart. I was just literally telling a friend that I wanted to add more florals to my wardrobe! I even almost got a top similar to this at Target a few weeks ago and put it back on the rack. Thank goodness I did, because this beauty showed up at my doorstep! I love that it will transition me to Spring, and can be worn with shorts, too!

Item #2 - Melle Fringe Detail Pullover Poncho
Wellllll. I don't love it, don't hate it. If I'm being honest, I don't even know how to pull the whole "poncho" thing off. Don't think I do it very well. I mean, it's very pretty, but I will most likely be sending this back.

Item # 3 - Alfredo Crew Neck Blouse
Often times, I will pull something out of the box and write if off before I even try it on. And that was the case with this blouse. But I decided, heck ya never know! I tried it on and I definitely liked it more than I thought I would! Even so, it's still not really my style, but I do think it's very comfortable & flattering. So... I'm not saying "no" just yet. I'm going to sleep on it, and try it on a few more times. So the verdict is still up in the air with this one!

Item #4 - Charleston Triple Stone Cuff
You really can't go wrong with a pretty bracelet! I got a gold cuff from stitch fix before, and kept it. And this one is sorta similar, but enough different that I think I'm going to keep this as well!! I love the stone detail!

Item #5 - Violeta 3/4 Sleeve Blouse
I was very pleasantly surprised when I pulled this blouse out of the box! I was immediately intrigued by the scalloped edges of this. And once I put it on, I realized it had a super cool opening in the back! I think this is seriously right up my alley!! It's unique and a little bit edgy. Plus, it's the perfect mix of dressy -- but not too dressy! Now I just need some super cute heels :)

That's it for this months Stitch Fix!! What did you think?? What should I keep, and what should I send back??

And by all means, if you're intrigued, check out Stitch Fix and get started on your style profile!!

I love the black shirt and I also love the shirt you are on the fence about. I would only send the poncho back. Stitch Fix has some really cute stuff.
