A Boy's Birthday Dreams Came True

So this is over a month late, but again, better late than never! ;) Bennett's 6th Birthday was just so special and so much fun, I had to make sure I posted about it for safe keeping. So he turned Six while we were in California this past January. We decided to spend his Birthday in Disney's California Adventure, and seriously, it was amazing!!

When we got there, the first thing we did was stop to get him an official Birthday Button, with his name on it. It was so cute, because at every ride, restaurant, and even just strolling down the sidewalk - staff members would take the time to stop and say "Happy Birthday, Bennett!" It really did make his day that much more memorable and special. I could see it in his face every time someone wished him a Happy Birthday <3

We ended up with a beautiful day to spend at the park, it was perfect and in the 70's. As soon as we walked through the gate, the boys were already remembering and requesting certain rides from the last time we visited CA Adventure. Mickey's Fun Wheel is always a hit, which still baffles me, because that thing is enormous & goes super super high. Other favorites were Maters Junkyard Jamboree, Monsters Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue, and Radiator Springs Racers. We didn't actually make it onto The Toy Story MidwayMania, which the kids were pretty bummed about... but we did almost every other thing on the list, so I call it a win! And I even got Easton to ride Goofy's Fly School (a medium sized coaster), and he loved it! Such a trooper.

The past few times we've gone to a Disney park, I have been so impressed with how well the kids do. Especially Bennett, he really struggles with crowds, loud noises & waiting around. He has his moment, but once he adjusts, he blows me away with his behavior. And I can't think of a better way to have spent his Birthday! I kinda feel like it's every kids dream to spend their day at Disneyland, or a Disney park. I'm glad we could give that to him this year, he deserved it!

Happy (belated) Birthday my love!!! You are so special to us. We love you so very much!

Hi,
I found your blog through stitch fix and love it. I was wondering if you could tell me which jeans you love? Thanks
