Before I dive into the the photos where I dive in and "model" the pieces in this months box, let me tell you about Stitch Fix, you know, in case you've been living under a rock ;-)
First thing, stitchfix.com and check it out! Next, create your style profile. Also, be sure to start a Stitch Fix Style pinboard and link it to your profile so that your stylists can get a feel for your clothing tastes and preferences. Then schedule your fix!! The stylists will hand pick 5 items for you to try on. They send the clothing pieces directly to your house, you try them on and decide what to keep (if anything) and then you send back what you don't want. Super easy and convenient!
- There's a $20 styling fee, which you can use toward your order. (that's awesome!!)
- If you keep all 5 items you receive 25% off your order.
- You choose your price range.
- The more feedback you give on the pieces sent to you, the better they get over time. So be sure to be very specific to your stylists so that they can send you things you'll love.
Item #1 - Kami Mixed Material Knit Tank
Before I behind, can we just agree to ignore my Rudolph nose? I got a little sun the other day and by the time I put on sunscreen, my poor nose was already red. lol. Okay moving along....
Lately I have been trying to stray away from stripes, because for a while there, that was literally all I bought. Stripes stripes stripes. So when I first saw this I was going to just toss this one aside and move along. But then thought that would be ridiculous, might as well try it on. Plus, the soft pink color drew me in a little, since I don't have much in this color. After putting it on, I really like it, despite the stripes. It's a fun summery top, plus it's super comfy & casual. I think I might keep it afteall! :-)
Item #2 - Moreno Lace Detail Top
Well, Nicole, this is right up my alley. I have continually requested more feminine, floral tanks/tops for the Summer (since I'm straying away from stripes). And she definitely delivered. Not only does this have a pretty, dainty pattern, I love the lace detail on the front of the top. It makes it different from all of the other Summer blouses I have.
Item #3 -Meghana Dress
First thing, a DRESS!! I haven't gotten a dress in a while. And I love the simplicity of this one. I really should have dressed this up with some cute jewelry... but I just wasn't thinking. ;) I can really see myself wearing this with a cute pair of sandals, or wedges. Thumbs up!!
Item #4 - Toluca Lattice Detail Blouse
So my stylist told me she threw this blouse in as a "wild card" item. lol. And she was right, she took a risk on this, because while I love the colors & pattern, I'm not super crazy about the style. Don't get me wrong, I think it's fun and unique, but I'm not sure how much I would wear this top? I'm torn, though. What do you think???
Item #5 - Easton Structured Crossbody Bag
This bag is called the "Easton" structored crossbody bag. It's like a sign that I'm supposed to keep it, because my son's name is Easton. So... duh. ;-) Plus, I am loving the pale green and the style of this purse. It's MINE!
Overall, another freaking amazing fix I think!! I'm still on the fence about a few of the items, and I'd love your opinions!! So bring 'em on! What do you think of these items? What would you keep, and what would you send back?
